Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
Re: Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
I like Jackson. I’d admit that it would probably not be smart to hold him out of trade offers, but I want to see him succeed here.
Re: Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
Would you guys trade TJ for Ball and another player to make the salaries work?

Honest question, what is the infatuation with Jackson all about?TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:29 pmNot me, especially with Bridges, Warren, and Oubre on the roster. Gotta get rid of some of the clutter.

I'd love to see TJ play with Lonzo.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 8:48 pmI think Josh Jackson would benefit immensely from playing with Lonzo, then again so would TJ.

Speaking for myself at least, I was a big fan of his coming out of college and it’s always nice to have the guys you wanted the suns to draft to turn out good. I still see a lot of the things I liked about him. I realize he has a long ways to go, but he shows enough flashes that I keep the hope. His motor and aggressive play is also an added bonus. He may not always play smart, but he will always play hard.iLLmatic wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 11:04 pmHonest question, what is the infatuation with Jackson all about?TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:29 pmNot me, especially with Bridges, Warren, and Oubre on the roster. Really? I don't get it. I don't know why folks prefer TJ over Jackson.

Re: Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
TJ is a better player now. But he’s only a scorer and our top two core consists of 2 guys whose best skill is also scoring. Jackson may never be as good as warren, but he provides the potential for a lot more complimentary skills than TJ does.
Re: Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
Yes. But the salaries work straight up, don't need to add another player.
Honestly, has anyone even noticed Warren's absence?

This. His energy and heart is what this team needs.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 11:17 pmSpeaking for myself at least, I was a big fan of his coming out of college and it’s always nice to have the guys you wanted the suns to draft to turn out good. Odds are we don't get a top 2 pick (only a 27.3% chance at best). And Ball is probably better than anyone outside of the top 2 picks in the draft this year.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:29 pmNot me, especially with Bridges, Warren, and Oubre on the roster. Re: Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
I have always been a big defender of TJ, and quick to point out how awful Josh has been. But if we are trading one of our wing players for Ball, and Oubre is not valuable enough to make that happen, I would prefer we trade TJ. My main reason is that Josh brings passion and rebounding and passing. TJ doesn't bring any of that, despite the fact he is a better player right now. But we seem intent on playing him at the 4, and he just can't succeed there... or I should say we can't.

Re: Around the League: Week 16 1/28-2/3
Eh I'd trade either of them if we get Ball back. This team sucks. Nobody we have is too untouchable. If we keep Booker, Ayton, and our 2019 1st rounder, and still get Ball, we won the trade.

So John wall, already out for the season with surgery on his foot, developed an infection in his heel and when they went in to check it out they discovered he also ruptured his Achilles. Without the injuries his contract looked rough...now it is worst contract in the history of the nba bad. It hasn’t even started yet...4 years and 170 million starts next season...yikes
