He confirms that there was an explicit quid pro quo, that Ukranian president Zelenskyy was told that he must make a public statement announcing an investigation of Biden or else he wouldn't get foreign aid. I think the impeachment articles are starting to look very strong.

It's a fairly funny gambit too since the only people it really would play well with are the Fox News viewers who are already strongly in Trump's camp. House GOP members don't do much good for Trump's reelection and impeachment defense when they flagrantly break the law on television.

The echo chamber of social media is great for the GOP until such time as it starts making the politicians behave like the constituents who are also within the echo chamber. Until lately, they used it as a tool for propaganda and control. But when people like Matt Gaetz storm around out of control, they're going to lose the narrative.
