And I think Hollinger is assuming the players will have no change in expectations after COVID. I think that is a risky assumption.
NBA FA 2020 & Suns FA targets
Re: NBA FA 2020 & Suns FA targets
Millsap caught my eye as a vet who would be a nice fit at the 4spot next to Ayton but he's lost a lot due to injuries the past few years. It'd be a lateral move, at best.

it is worth every penny, especially when you get the 50% of a year. honestly better than anything you read from the local paper or ESPN.
Indy, hard time paying for content when journalists tend to break all the news and rumors on twitter for free these days.

Understandable, and Shams, who works for the athletic, still puts his breaking news on Twitter. You pay for the athletic if you’re interested in the more unique featured stories they offer. They had a 90 day free trial going on, you can try it out and see if it’s worth it.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 1:40 pmThanks for sharing In2.Indy wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 12:23 pmspecialsauce wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 11:14 amLame paywallIn2ition wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 11:04 amSometimes I hate being right. I'm a subscriber, but wouldn't recommend signing up for the free trial until live sports returns. There just isn't the content to justify it.Split T wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 2:02 pmUnderstandable, and Shams, who works for the athletic, still puts his breaking news on Twitter. Not interested in Millsap. Nice player in his day but too old now. Semi-interested in Gallo, but worried that he'll fetch too high a price on the free agent market. And he seems to have really worked hard on his conditioning and health just in time for free agency, but he looked fat and out of shape and always injured every year before that lately. So I worry he's just on his best behavior until he gets a big multi-year contract, at which point he'll loaf around all summer and be less effective.

He was really good last year too. Maybe he's found what works for him health wise.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 4:04 pmNot interested in Millsap. Nice player in his day but too old now. It's him, Woods, or Bertans for me. I think maybe they will be able to convince Bertans, but Detroit and Miami have more money to throw at Woods and Gallo, imo.

No, I just hate most of what he represents. Other than that, he’s great.

I subscribe as well, and it is well worth it when there are sports, especially if you can get the 50% off deal. Most teams have their own dedicated writers, so for my weird sports allegiances (Suns, 49ers, Boston Bruins), I get a TON of awesome content and it isn't just beat writer game recaps. You'll get good stories about a player's background, or a fun hobby, etc.Split T wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 8:54 amThat’s a good pointShabazz wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 4:02 pmI'm a subscriber, but wouldn't recommend signing up for the free trial until live sports returns.
