I get people hated when Boris passed up layups to kick it out to 3-point shooters, but I honestly couldn't care less. His post game was so smooth, his passing was fantastic, and he was so good versatile. Just on a pure basketball level, his play that year was some of the best I have ever seen from a Suns player since 1993. It was such a joy to watch.
(and it's what makes the rest of his tenure with the Suns so heartbreaking)

The 1993 Suns team just won my heart; it wasn't specifically because of Barkley.Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 10:11 amA collective 'yes' to that one.INFORMER wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 1:33 amAre you asking if Barkley is why I referenced 1993 or if Barkley's performance was better?Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 12:40 amBarkley?INFORMER wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 10:41 pmspecialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 6:41 pmIt makes no sense, but Boris Diaw is my second favorite. Barkley certainly was dominant at various points throughout his Suns tenure. I did enjoy watching him play (except for him shooting 3s). Of course I would rate his play above Boris; Barkley's play was HOF level.

Do you think you could post the weekly threads for a while? Got a lot of shit going on right now. Mom lost her job & think we're going to have to sell our house. This covid situation stinks for so many people.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:54 amI'll take a shot at starting the weekly news thread since I've found some unusually interesting articles.
