Marcus did a much better job on Kobe than Tucker did.
PJ just doesnt have the length.

I think Kobe gets off on scoring on PJ, too. Whenever Tucker guards him, you can practically see the glint in his eye.da_suns_fan wrote:Marcus did a much better job on Kobe than Tucker did.

Remember this is the first off a back to back. Eric only playing 6mins so far, nice to keep his mins low if we can pull away
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Suns did a great job hanging in there through the shooting drought. Amazing how the Lakers couldn't cut off guard penetration even when the Suns weren't hitting any jumpers.
Dragic penetrating at will, his problem is that his jumper is consistently short, indicating fatigue. I suspect that the jumper will come back later in the season. But I also suspect that his early season struggles will affect his average stats just enough to cost him a few million dollars.

I'm giving an exam for my students tonight, so I am just watching the box score for this game. Looks like we're out to a nice lead. I hope we don't have to give anybody too much burn and wear them out for tomorrow's real test. At the same time, let's get this win and not look ahead to the next game. IT3 having another great game, and nice to see Gerald Green show up.

13 points in 12 minutes on 9 shots. He's trash and I can't wait to get rid of him after the season.carey wrote:Green is almost unguardable when he's hitting his fadeaway like that.

Only back to back that has statistical significance on team perfromance is road-road .Sunsfan4life wrote:Remember this is the first off a back to back. Eric only playing 6mins so far, nice to keep his mins low if we can pull away

Markieff, Len, and Plumlee doing a good job of controlling the boards.da_suns_fan wrote:Suns score 58 despite awful three point shooting.

I really wish we could figure out a way to keep the guy. Maybe if he changed his name to Gerald Morris...INFORMER wrote:13 points in 12 minutes on 9 shots. Embarrassing defensive effort to start the 2nd half.

Plumlee should be embarrassed for just watching Kobe throw that up. He was RIGHT there.
Go Suns!
