Dort will play but Poku is still out. As if it matters. Maybe I'm getting overconfident, but these Suns seem to have rooted their lackadaisical performances against bad teams.
Their last bad loss in my book was at the end of March against the Timberwolves. I think the loss to the Spurs was kind of a fluke, similar to the loss to the Pels earlier in the season. And the Spurs are pretty good right now, unlike this Thunder team.

Yep, and with the play-in tournament we get 6 or 7 days of rest after the regular season anyway.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 1:17 pmI think that's a dangerous game. I think we should just play out the schedule while doing what's best for our team health wise going into the playoffs. I wouldn't try to strategize our ending position. Our guys don't seem to want a rest so just play it out. Maybe by the last game a win or loss doesn't affect our positioning so we rest guys but other than that, just play to win every game.Nodack wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 1:23 amI don’t know what the playoff pecking order is going to be. Do the Suns try to win out and take who’s ever there or do they rest some people and maybe lose a game or two to get the seed they want? Obviously a healthy Lakers team is going to be a problem for any team. It would suck having to start with them. The top 4 teams have pulled away from the rest of the pack and then there are six teams 9.5 to 14 games behind fighting for the last four spots that have a chance. I’m hoping the Suns just play it out, but if it comes down to the last game of the season and losing it gives them an easier matchup I might think about it. The Grizzly’s have the 8th spot today. The Warriors and the Spurs are a half game back. The Lakers are trending downward. I can see the Lakers easily ending up in 7th and us in 2nd. I am kind of scared of the Spurs. They kicked our ass last game somehow. Pop must personally know the old Gypsy lady.

It feels like the team is already in playoff mode because they're going for the #1 seed in earnest. They want that achievement and it's perks.

Yeah, makes me feel pretty confident about tonight's game right now. I hope that doesn't change during the game!Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 2:42 pmIt feels like the team is already in playoff mode because they're going for the #1 seed in earnest. Well, that was a drag. I got the DBack’s postgame show instead. Anybody catch it? They don’t replay pre-game shows.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 3:06 pmOK, I'm for sure counting tonight. Will report my results after.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 2:05 pmigetwhatyouresayin

CP, Jevon, Cam, Dario and Frank is an interesting lineup.

Games like this kill me when DA is so passive. Has a scrub guarding him and he hasn’t even attempted a shot. He works so hard to just blend in. It’s maddening to still have no clue what makes that guy tick

He had a more aggressive stretch after that, but yeah, he has to get rid of those bad habits for the Suns to win big and everyone knows it.

Torrey Craig is probably the most important midseason addition that no one is talking about outside of Phoenix.

Nice to see Book enter the game and completely raise the defensive intensity. Great defense the close the half.

Suns up 7 but choppy half, team kinda looks disinterested. I think Book flipped a chair on the way to the lockerroom for halftime? Anyone else catch that?

I'm sort of half watching the game while doing other stuff. They just mentioned Booker was pissed off at halftime, but I didn't see anything.

Book visibly heated heading for the tunnel

Jevon with a nice steal off the inbounds that got us a Frank layup and then put on the moves to make the tough layup in the lane. Lead up to 15, gotta end the quarter strong and hopefully wear them down for the blowout.

Dario is having a nice game in his first back from injury.

Kind of feels like a Globetrotters game with spin moves by Kaminsky and poster dunks by nobodies

One of the laziest games for DA this season. Just lethargic tonight

Sleepwalking through most of the second half and their fellar dwelling opponents are within striking distance after dunks in the last minute of play.
