That Atlanta game didn’t help, haha. I’ve seen Crowder rated pretty high on a lot of those advanced defensive plus/minus metrics...perhaps he is more important than we think to our defensive abilities

Speaking of Crowder, what the hell is wrong with him? He's been out FOREVER and it's starting to really bother me. It was his ankle, right?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yep, a right ankle sprain. Sprained ankles sure seem to be keeping players out longer these days--LeBron just missed 20 games with one. Do we know if Crowder's was a high ankle sprain?AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 9:07 amSpeaking of Crowder, what the hell is wrong with him? He injured it on April 21, and we start the playoffs on May 22 or 23.

I heard he is ramping up his pre-game routines and moving pretty well. i would be surprised if he was still out after this weekend.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 10:44 amYep, a right ankle sprain. So what? Everyone talked about how the Suns schedule would be more difficult after the All-Star break, and no one was ever talking about them as a great defensive team at that time either.

Noticed the suns get both the blazers and Warriors when they are on the 2nd night of a back to back. Should get the Lakers without LeBron. If the Jazz slip up at all, we should go into our Spurs double header with the 1 seed.
Re: Suns News: Week 20 5/3-5/9
I really wish the Nuggets had taken care of the Jazz last night. I think getting the #1 seed would give us a MUCH easier potential playoff bracket.
Re: Suns News: Week 20 5/3-5/9
The Lakers are angling to play us in the 1st round, aren't they?

I just watched that Rex Chapman interview with James Jones. That was so awesome! Answers so many questions. The culture they have built is just so amazing. He’s all about people and helping people and him and Monty seem to be on the same page in that regard.
Talking about Sarver was enlightening. Most Suns fans seem to hate Sarver. Sarver seems to be getting it. He wants to give them anything they need to succeed and it seems to be working. He was a rookie owner that is no longer a rookie owner. He took a chance putting Jones in charge since Jones was never a GM before and it paid off. I think some of you Suns fans need to give a little credit to Sarver.

I've read that Kaminsky has moved ahead of Saric in the rotation. I think there's an article on AZ Sports about it.
Here it is:

Re: Suns News: Week 20 5/3-5/9
Not surprising about Frank and Dario. Monty's been willing to change things up off the bench throughout the season and use different guys. I'm more surprised he didn't make the switch earlier.
