Well, if there is one team that could beat the Lakers on any given night for one game, it’s the Warriors.

I’d probably go with the Nets ;)...but ya the Warriors are a better option than the Grizzlies

This is a cool stat from this article about the playoff teams.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/314 ... -teams-mix

The Suns have been historically efficient on one often forgotten area of the floor: the midrange. Led by Paul (first in the league in midrange makes) and Booker (fourth in the league), Phoenix shot 47.4% from that area during the regular season, the highest percentage by any team in the past 20 seasons. -- Vincent Johnson

Hanson's take here is basically how everyone felt "luv the kid, luv the bubble, rooting for the kid" but just weren't sure if we should be trusting him as the main backup and that was fair because there wasn't much to go on. We talked at length about CP3 potential impact on Book n DA but surely Cam's growth is linked to that relationship 8-) 8-)

Full credit to him for staying the course and repaying Monty belief in him. Hope his growth continues, excuse the shameless plug  :D

NBA FA 2020 & Suns FA targets

Now doing my due diligence because he's on the Suns I didn't even realize he been in the league so long I just knew he was picked 14th. To those like myself who might not have known it was the Booker draft (13) then Cam then Oubre 15 how crazy is that. I know it's always easy or tempting to say a player is trash but sometimes it's just as simple as confidence and opportunity. His career been a wash so far and maybe he needed this recent extended stint in the G League to have things come together for him. We often say here that a player wasn't ready but watch him go to a better situation/organization and produce so why for once can't we be the ones getting a late bloomer

The irony is the players we have wished for/targeted recently is the G League poster boy FVV , Dinwiddie also had three stints in the G League and then there is also Seth who took a while to find his way

So yes it's just been a few games but it would not be far fetched that a random signing like this although Monty knew him as a rookie ends up being a solid guy for us

The Cam Payne story is great. I am so glad he has prospered after taking the hard road and we get the benefits.

I was very much in the "I love what he did in the bubble, but there is no way we can trust him to be a primary back up PG, especially when CP3 is known to miss games." And I know that Payne is peaking at the right time, and wasn't this god all season, but I am so glad to be wrong about this. He stepped up big time this last month, and I hope it continues into the playoffs.

Sarver also said he is willing to pay the luxury tax in order to keep this team together and add additional players to get better.

I'm sure he'd also say he has a 12" johnson. And I'm not talking about Cam.

Didn't wanna share this to then get everyone riled up as Sarver comes out from the shadows but guess someone would have posted it anyways

I hope Payne keeps breaking out in the playoffs and we have to pay him too this summer.

I mean, if he breaks out so much to the point of using Accutane...I'm here for it.
