The Lakers are the first #7 seed to be favored over the #2 seed in NBA history.

I actually thought this game was reffed pretty fair...I was afraid they’d give it to the Lakers. They called a bunch on the Warriors to start the 3rd, but they all looked like fouls...

The charge Lebron drew was bad, but they overturned it. I thought the moving screen on Green was bad...he was moving, but literally everyone is moving on those screens....they usually only call the blatant ones and that wasn’t that bad.

Really what it came down to is the Warriors didn’t have anyone else step up. Curry was awesome, but the Lakers did a good job of trapping him and forcing him to give up the ball, the rest of the Warriors didn’t do a good job of making LA pay...Draymond turned it over a lot as the release valve on those traps.

LeBron turned it on and went on a few runs by himself. That 3 was just a huge shot.

Wish LA would have kept Schroeder in, he couldn’t shoot and was getting torched by Curry.

The Lakers won the game with their defense in the second half. The Warriors were too sloppy.

But.. I HATE dumb officiating late in the game.

Can’t allow a 14-2 run to start the 3rd. That 13 point half time lead was gone quick. Lakers adjusted at half time and Warriors never really figured out their defense in half 2.

Bring it on, Lakers. LeBron looked gimpy.
Kick him in the ankle.

Worse has happened to us. Remember Nash into the scorers table causing Amare and Diaw to be suspended?

Nice guys always finish last. It is time to stop being fucking nice all the time. (When you are dealing with a team like the Lakers that have had more privileges, breaks, refs, etc etc etc)
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

That's a flagrant foul according to the rule book in 2021. (But I guess not?)

LeBron was milking the hell out of it.
Sorry a disagree and I am not a Green supporter or Warrior supporter. However I saw Green's hands go up to block the shot, Lebron's momentum caused him to collide with Green's hands. Green did not try to punch him. Besides it is nice to see Lebron land on his ass after one of his uncontrolled drives to the hoop. IMO that could have been a charge. If it was Amare against Tim Duncan that would have been a charge.

That's fair and I like that it wasn't a flagrant foul.

My point is that the precedent the league has set is that any contact above the shoulders is a flagrant foul.

It didn’t look like a punch to me. It looked like his touched his face. Maybe he did get an eyeball with a finger. I don’t know. It seems they allow guys to challenge shots at the rim as long as they go straight up and keep their arms straight up. Green’s arms were leaning into Lebron’s space and that is a foul. Lebron has become a world class flopper and I am pretty sure the refs are aware of it. His eye was so messed up he hit a total clutch desperation 3 with time running out on the shot clock. It being Hollywood, all the Lakers have decided they are actors too.

Bring it on. The Warriors just showed the Suns how to defend the Lakers.
Yeah, hire Dramond Green.

Isn't this what Suns fans wanted? To beat the best and not avoid anyone?

Nothing would give me more pleasure than the Suns knocking the Lakers out in the first round. That would also send a message to the remaining teams that the Suns are for real.

In his defense, he only had two choices. Real of fake.
