He’s getting into the lane at will. I know it’s not cool to look ahead but I do wonder if our guards will have the same type of success if we ever got there and Milwaukee is the matchup.

Milwaukee is pretty set on playing a drop with Brook. It’s a terrible defense to play against Trae.

If they play a drop defense our guards will.

Hawks have no answer to the Holiday Giannis pick and roll lob.

The Bucks caught them with it a few times, but everyone knows how to stop it.

As Barkley said, they are the dumbest team...

The Bucks had two choices after Trae Young made the free throws to give them a 3 point lead with 17 seconds left.

1. Call a timeout to set up a three point shot.
2. Push the ball for a quick two point shot or foul.

Instead, they chose the third option of dribbling and passing the ball around to burn off 10 seconds. Genius, Coach Bud.

The betting market seems to like us better against the Hawks than against the Bucks. We're up to +110 in the wake of this game.

 +110 (44.5%) Suns
 +140 (38.9%) Bucks
 +800 (10.4%) Hawks
+1400 ( 6.2%) Clippers

Ah, it feels good to have the Suns first.

Hawks are just tremendously potent on offense and Trae is just playing so unreal right now but i think defensively, we will pick them apart.

Bucks I think have a nice balance of defense and offense and Giannis would be a big problem for us but they are so freaking dumb when it matters.

Both teams scare me but Hawks probably more so than the Bucks.

I might be getting a little over confident, but neither of these teams scare me.

Agree. Bucks are idiots and Ayton will be able to contain the Greek Freak. Atlanta doesn't have close to our depth or a big 3.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Atlanta would be the more entertaining of the two to watch.

Peeped some of this in my down time at work which happened to be th 3rd when Trae and Collins had a Rucker Park type run going smh
It's honestly kinda hard to contain him the way the game is called now.

Either way, I'm here catching up on my timeline and I'm seeing Twitter and now you guys also are being quite nice about the Bucks
Yikes lol

Again, at the risk of looking too far ahead ... if we match up with

Bucks

Ayton should be able to contain Giannis -- no shutting down the two time MVP but he won't blow up for 48 points against us. We have enough perimeter defense to also contain Jrue and Middleton. These guys sometimes can't get out of their own way anyway. Their role players are a joke, and they have such awful crunch time offense that I can't imagine them winning if the game is within 3-5 points with 2 min to go. The way we lose to them is if all three of Giannis, Jrue, and Middleton are shooting > 45%, which may be possible, but I'd predict Suns in 6.

Hawks

I'm worried about Collins' rebounding. We don't have the athleticism to match up against him. Crowder is good at defending bigger players, but he's not exactly a box-out savant and it'll have to be a gang rebounding effort. I was particularly impressed with Booker's rebounding this post season, and we'll have to keep this up against a team like the Hawks. Their defense is pretty horrible and they gave up lots of easy points to the Bucks, so we should get our share of them as well. And with Hunter out and Bogdanovic banged up, we only need to worry about Trae, Huerter, and Collins on D, and we have plenty of personnel to keep those guys at bay. I didn't watch the Knicks series against the Hawks, but neither the 76ers nor the Bucks have managed to punish Trae on defense, which I think we will be more successful at. I'd say Suns in 5-6 games against the Hawks.

Having said all that, Suns in fo'!

Hawks scare me more than the Bucks. They're plucky.

Bucks are a train-wreck - at least as much of one as a team in the Eastern Conference Finals could be.
