Trump could tell them the Pope was Muslim and none of them would doubt it for a second.

He already said he could shoot a man on Fifth Avenue and get away with it. He can do and say whatever he wants and they'll eat it up. "Grab 'em by the pussy!"

Paul Gosar Spoke At A White Nationalist Conference. The GOP Doesn’t Care.
The congressman was the keynote speaker at a conference run by a virulent racist and anti-Semite. HuffPost tried to find a Republican lawmaker to rebuke him.

Last week a sitting U.S. congressman delivered a keynote speech at a white nationalist conference in Florida.

“Wow, what a group,” Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) said as he took his place behind a podium emblazoned with the letters “AFPAC” — an acronym for America First Political Action Conference, the second annual gathering of the white nationalist “groyper” movement.

Fuentes, who has been banned on many social media platforms for his rhetoric, retweeted Gosar as well as others coming to the congressman's defense.

The far-right commentator has cast doubt on the millions of deaths during the Holocaust. The FBI has referred to him as a white supremacist.

The Trump Organization and its CFO Allen Weisselberg are set to be charged with tax-related crimes by the Manhattan district attorney’s office on Thursday, The Wall Street Journal reported.

According to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, a top executive at the Trump Organization is not a necessary component in the potential legal prosecution of the ex-president.

New York prosecutors are reportedly considering criminal charges against Allen Weisselberg, the longtime chief financial officer for the Trump Organization. Legal observers have noted that Donald Trump himself could face repercussions if Weisselberg decides to cooperate with the Manhattan district attorney's investigation of the Trump Organization.

House votes to establish committee to investigate Jan. 6 Capitol riot
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congre ... t-n1272624
WASHINGTON — The House voted Wednesday to establish a select committee to investigate the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol, the only step needed to formalize the panel's creation.

The House voted 222 to 190, with two Republicans joining all present Democrat in authorizing the committee.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger, of Illinois, and Liz Cheney, of Wyoming, were the only Republicans to vote in favor of the committee.

"It's not my favored option," Kinzinger told Chicago-based television station Fox 32. "But the point is, we can't keep pretending like Jan. 6 didn't happen. We need full accounting for it and then we can move on."

I like Kinzinger because he's one of the few honest Republicans.

They've got to be in on it, right? Don't want to be caught.

Well, a ton of them just do whatever leadership tells them to do so they don't miss out on a committee. But you would think at least 10% has a conscience. I mean more than that voted for impeachment.

Trump owns the party. These two Republicans will be destroyed if Trump has anything to do with it. Blind loyalty to him is expected and anything less means you are his enemy. The other Republicans are just scared of him.

They're making it clear what they plan to do. They'll do everything in their power to restrict voting rights so they can win. And if they don't win, they simply won't accept the result. They'll deny a rightfully elected Democrat his/her seat by any means necessary.

Not just a Democrat. Anyone that they don't see as a part of their strategy. For local elections that could be people in their own party that aren't far right enough.
