Up to the first timeout and it's pretty clear Jalen Smith is the best guy on the court for either team. He'd easily have 10 points if he was playing with anyone willing to set up the rest of the team.

Only "bad" play I've seen from him so far was his attack off the dribble from the top. He has the speed and size but the finish was really awkward.

Basically the entire Suns roster is sitting courtside.

Lol
Man I'm trying to watch this without getting a headache

Summer League is just some pickup ball with a fair amount of bad decision making :? . As mentioned by couple of us earlier in the thread, gonna be hard to take too much from these games and from this 1st quarter looks like our SL team is full of "points guards" and nobody looking to facilitate

As to be expected though, everyone trying to get shots up to make an impression. Good to see a few of the guys there to watch which is On Brand for us :)

This is how I feel watching other SL games. It's just bad basketball.

I'm only getting through this game because of Smith.

Can’t believe Booker is there.

Not that strange to me. A half a day is gained flying from Asia to North America. Most importantly, the guy is a basketball addict.

SL usually isn't a great environment for bigs. We have a lot of scoring guards so Stix is having a hard time getting the ball. He looks good when he has it, has brought the ball upcourt off rebounds a few times and looked comfortable.

Not sure why Ty-Shon didn't start but the announcer has mistaken Kyle Alexander for Ty-Shon a few times. Ty came on in the 2nd with a jumper and charge, looked like Book on the elbow jumper.

We have some active bigs with Kyle Alexander and Tyrique Jones.

Cool to see James Jones, Book, Cam Johnson and both CPs sitting courtside watching the game.

It's higher level pickup basketball. 8-)
Stix started slow, but realized there was no Chris Paul out there to feed him, so he came off the perimeter and started getting involved.

I know it's not Bender, but the suns have a tall bearded white guy wearing 35 right now and its bugging me out.

I haven’t seen Johnson so far but I did see Bridges.

Most of these guys are just looking to land minor league or overseas jobs. Not too many who will play in the NBA out there.

So far the Suns have 2 assists and 7 turnovers That tell you all you need to know.

Hard to throw a team of strangers together and then play a game in about 5 days.

I was behind. Now I see Johnson. James Jones too. It is cool that gold medal winning, basketball junkie Book is there.

Ty-Shon is really not showing me much. He doesn't look any different from the rest of these guys I've never heard of.

Not too long after the trade was announced Mikal tweeted a pic of him and Jevon with my Brother for Life as the caption

It's really cool that he's there with them. Not sure if anyone else noticed, forever One of the Fellas 8-).

Maybe I'm underselling Ty-Shon. He's better than most of these guys. I'm just not optimistic about him becoming an NBA rotation player, which should be the next step for him.

I mean, it’s super impressive. No one would have blamed him if he was in Tahiti for a month with Kendall.
