It’s pretty amazing how average the Clippers are to start the season after going to the WCF last year.
They’re 4th in record and scoring margin in the west. Plus they are built for the postseason. They are matchup proof and cause all sorts of matchup nightmares for teams. If they hang around 4-6 and get Kawhi back? Watch out
Clips gave us all we could handle last year in the playoffs. They had a seemingly endless supply of athletic 3-and-D guards and wings who would pester CP3 full-court and would bomb 3s on us all game. They were a tough out. I would be scared of them if they get a healthy Kawhi back, but I'm not sure he has any interest in returning this season.
The West standings are pretty interesting right now.
You have
Tier 1 with Warriors and Suns (.900/.850)
Tier 2 with Jazz at .667
Tier 3 with teams #4-#10 all around .500, within one game of each other
and then Tier 4 with the bad teams #11-#15.

That #4-10 tier is a bloodbath. Almost every team in that tier thinks they can be a contender and are going to be tough to play every night. It'll spread out a bit as the season wears on, but there's a lot of mid-tier talented teams in the West. I think the Jazz will actually climb up to tier-1 as the season goes on due to their great depth and system and overall talent level on their roster.

Lakers fans are about a week away from switching their reversible jersey to the Curry side.
A lot of new Laker fans are actually LeBron fans. I heard a bunch of them try to get him traded to the Warriors, so this checks out.

December 15, 2014: Kings replaced Michael Malone (11-13) with Tyrone Corbin (interim), then George Karl (permanent).
The Kings were one of the only teams on this list to make multiple in-season changes in the same season. After installing Corbin as the interim coach following Malone’s firing, Sacramento remained on the lookout for a longer-term hire and ultimately decided to bring Karl aboard. Of the Kings’ three head coaches that season, Malone easily had the best record over Corbin (7-21) and Karl (11-19), who only lasted one more season in Sacramento.
