I am pretty sure he officiated one of the Laker games we won last year.

EDIT--Wasn't Lakers. It was the other LA team. It was the Valley Oop game. And Paul didn't play, so I think you are right.

As much as the refs have the potential to be a major character in tonight's story, I still believe in our guys to pull this one out. We're just that much better than we are. If New Orleans had Zion, I'd be more worried about the refs, since he's such a bull in a China shop.

After we lost to the Lakers, Paul said, "11 games in a row." So if you subtract Game 7 in 2018 and add the two Finals games, it would be 12.

They tend to allow more physicality, which has hurt Paul in the past, but they're also overly performative and prone to making 'I'm in charge here' calls out of no where.
