Changes for game 5...
No Payne
Go to Ayton more in Q1
Hope the NBA has scripted us to win...
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Well we've said all season that we learnt from last year
Coming back home with series tied 2-2 is going to give Finals vibes so will see how we handle the noise/doubt

Well that sucked the big one.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Luka should get an academy award for all the head snap back fouls.
The whole team should get them

Was that Shawn Marion I saw on the end of the Mavs bench?

Chris Paul has 4 fouls wtf???
That last one in particular was a total joke and another Doncic sales job.
Yeesh. Glad I missed the first half. Hopefully 2nd half goes better. :?
It did not.

Anybody else with me or I'm on the "We will Respond Island" all by myself ?

The 4th foul is a potential issue cause Luka been getting calls like crazy so we have to hope any switches doesn't result in another BS call
Let’s hope so in Game 5.

I'm really tired of this catfishing from Ayton.

I think you need to get Ayton involved early in the game otherwise he falls asleep

Last couple of games show why maxing Ayton is a scary proposition.
And why Bridges as your #3 guy would be even scarier.

we are really missing that historically efficient scoring big.
I’ve seen the pattern. The Warriors did it to him too in the regular season. As soon as a team starts mucking things up and putting pressure on him, he folds like a tortilla. He is missing the aggressive gene.

He played great when Booker went down in the Pels series, but he’s had 3 straight bad games in this series.

Payne is doing fine on Luka. I'd rather have him battle Luka post ups from 20 feet than scrambling switches that leave shooters open.
I don’t get how we defend Luka one-on-one yet they still get wide open threes every possession. Might as well double team him in that case.

Part scheme, part sleeping Suns defenders.

The Mavs constantly set off ball screens on the corner defender. Hitting the pass to the corner sets off a cascade of scrambling to close out.

I just don’t see how we win this. This is a disaster.
Only down 8
Yeah, just wait a few possessions and it'll be 14.
Good call.

I think a big part of him playing great was Booker being on his ass from the bench. Remember that Booker had to keep telling him to shoot during every timeout?
