Grizzlies need to do some serious thinking about why they are so good without Ja. Not saying Ja is expendable, but there’s obviously something to this as it’s not so small a sample size anymore. Something about Ja not playing allows them to play differently. Ja is still clearly the top talent, but if they want to reach the highest level, they need to find a way for Ja to add to what the team does without him.

So Holiday had two huge defensive plays on the defensive player of the year. Quite ironic.

Quite the response by those young dudes
I'm guessing there might have been some crazy chants tonight
They got whooped alright. Was that a record for a playoff game?

Just got around to watching today's Game 5's.

The Bucks have been through the fire and people underestimate how hard it is to beat a champion 4 out of 7. It's pretty wild how most people will forget Portis' rebound and put back thanks to two great plays by Holiday. Meanwhile, the last two Boston possessions were classic Marcus Smart. I refuse to believe he didn't know Tatum was sprinting wide open down the sideline.

The Warriors are honey potting the Grizzlies. They're going to win Game 6 at home and didn't really put in an honest effort to win Game 5. The Grizzlies fatal flaw is inexperience and the Warriors are baiting them into taking a breath after winning by 40 at home.

I wish guys like Barkley, Oakley, Rodman were still in the league because Dray would've been taken out on a stretcher a long time ago

I think nowadays the league rules wouldn't lead them to do that. If they tried to lay him out '80s style, they'd get ejected and suspended. Wouldn't be worth it.

Honestly don't think they'd care. They wouldn't let anyone manhandle them like that.

If the league had balls, they'd suspend him for Game 6 just to send a message. He doesn't care about flagrants, techs or fines.

I hate Draymond. Not looking forward to possibly facing them next round.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It was the two Celtics, Brown and Smart, fighting over the rebound that allowed Portis to get it. I'll blame that one on Brown. Smart had the angle.

That's right, but I'm talking about his baseline drive that was rejected and turnover in the last seconds.

Yeah, I think FF is saying everyone will think of this game as the one where Jrue won it for them in the end. They will forget that without Portis getting that board and foul, Jrue wouldn't have had a chance to win it for them.

I've always thought the Suns and Celtics would have the best chance to beat the Bucks. The way things look now, it's hard to imagine anyone taking them out if they have Giannis and at least one of Holiday and Middleton.

Well, they don’t have Middleton and they couldn’t finish the job in Milwaukee. Now they too are coming down to a one game winner takes all but in Boston.
