James Jones was a really good defender. While I don't think Robinson is as bad as he's made out to be, he's not nearly the defender JJ was.Furlanfufi wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 12:38 pmFunny that Jones dont like the guy who plays exactly like him

And I don't think he was known for getting played off the floor in the playoffs.
Re: Jae Crowder trade request
Robinson would be a perfectly fine bench option if he wasn’t signed for 4 years at 17 million a year. I’d consider trading Crowder for him if he had Shamets contract.

Re: Jae Crowder trade request
On the court, I’d be very worried about his turnstile defense. He’s unplayable in end game situations, but so is Jae Crowder from his couch so…

Re: Jae Crowder trade request
Ya Crowder is better, but Robinson could be a useful bench player. I wouldn’t have him out there with the game on the line, but he could give us 15-20 minutes with the 2nd unit.
Re: Jae Crowder trade request
Maybe we can solve our Crowder/Ayton problem together…wait till Dec 15th and then send
Ayton/Crowder/Saric/Shamet/Payne/Craig for
Hayward/Rozier/Oubre/Washington/Plumlee
Paul/Booker/Bridges/Hayward/Plumlee
Rozier/CamJ/Oubre/Washington/Landale
Ayton/Crowder/Saric/Shamet/Payne/Craig for

Well on the Suns that might've just been because he was the only bench player in D'Antoni's 6-man rotation.

Chris Haynes talked to Crowder and says it wasn’t about starting

I'm sure he's fine with signing an extension that pays him like a starter without actually starting.

Re: Jae Crowder trade request
Chris Haynes is a tool. I called him out on Twitter for being a Klutch mouth piece during the Bledsoe situation and he showed up in my DMs. I don’t even think I @‘d him meaning he searched his name and then came at me.

I really think it was a combination of the lack of extension and the near-banishment to Sacramento, after everything he gave the team, that pissed him off.
Re: Jae Crowder trade request
You really think they shared with him that they were exploring sending him to Sacramento?

Jae, Dario and ___ for Harrison Barnes and Trey Lyles? I think if we made a move like that the only thing we'd be missing is another reliable creation option in the back-court.
Re: Jae Crowder trade request
The rumors I have heard said it was basically done as a back up to the KD trade falling through, but when the KD issue kept lingering, the Kings backed out. I am pretty sure Jae was briefed about it.

I thought it was Sacramento that backed out?
