It's stupid to "not guard" Westbrook. He has his flaws, but you can't just ignore the PG and play 5v4. The Clippers constantly attacked the rim to start the game, where was the interior defense? That's on Monty or the players?djy2j wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:18 pmNot being able to figure out Powell while not having to guard Westbrook and having KD only taking 8 shots. Those are two fair examplesFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:15 pmOf course. And that's the difference, I can admit it.
I just want someone to explain how he's being out coached in the middle of the first half. It's the most armchair BS take in all of fandom.
At least with Ayton we can watch him do or not do something on the court.
It seems like a lot of people are expecting KD to do everything at all times, but that's just not going to work. It's better to distribute the offensive load throughout the game, and BTW, Booker went off in the first half.
I disagree with both of those as evidence of being "out coached", but thanks for giving some kind of example.
Edit: I forgot to add that one of my pet peeves is not giving credit to the opponent, Norm Powell in this case.
