Lol, I got excited at first, but then I realized that I was thinking of Isaiah Livers. Todd has been awful. This is a win for Washington. Goodwin is a win for the Suns.
Todd's a project with a nice shooting touch, good size and athleticism at the forward spot. I wouldn't call it a "win" for the Wizards just by throwing him into the deal.
He's this year's Gabriel Lunberg or Ty-Shon Alexander.

Lowe mentioned that we might see the suns overpay their own free agents that they have bird rights for. Might even try to match their salaries to what the different exceptions will be to keep them as trade pieces moving forward. Mentioned Jock, Biz, Torrey, and Bazley specifically.

He was a waste of a roster space for them. He even struggled in the G-League.
Maybe he can show something in the summer league, if the trade can get finalized in time for him to play, and if Jones will waive his minimum age requirement.
If we had any sort of track record of positive player development in recent years, I could see this as a potential positive.

Todd has more potential than those guys, but Bazley is better and he was never given a chance.
I think Todd's got a better offensive touch, Bazley's got more potential as a defender. But with some of these guys, particularly the "project" bigs who skip college, they look like rec league players who get a lot off on athleticism or have tunnel vision doing one specific thing they're good at without really knowing how to play a complete game. It's tough to develop those guys who aren't well rounded basketball players to begin with.

Bobby would never.
It’s like living in a whole new reality.
So it’s gonna be Jock, Biz, Torrey, and Bazley for Dame?

Jock should be a no-brainer IMO.
Yep. He should be the number one priority out of those guys. Craig a close second.

We're charged up because we traded for a $50mil go-to type of All-Star who chose us, but there's still a lot of work to be done. And if it doesn't work, we might feel some pain later on.
Especially since Beal will have us in the exact position he put Washington in.
Who cares? We were literally trying to waive Paul and Shamet anyway.
Not really the point, Jeremy.
Who cares if things go south and Bradley Beal forces the Suns to make a trade like the one Washington just did? I care.
The guy hasn't even played a minute in a Suns uni and we are already predicting that he is going to hold us to ransom in some messy breakup in 2 years time. Can we not just enjoy the fact that we now have 3 elite scorers on the roster and see how things play out?
