I would do this…I’d prefer Avdija over Kispert but I get that’s not likely

That was a fake story made up by @KhizHoop on Twitter.Split T wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 6:48 amWe’re playing a dangerous game…if Ayton isn’t awesome his trade value will plummet(if it hasn’t already). I don’t know what the offers for him are right now, but if the rumored Randle and 2 1sts offer was real, he still has value.
I don’t want Randle on this current team, but if other teams have made similar offers value wise, we should seriously consider them.
I’m still holding out hope Indiana or Orlando want him. Maybe Atlanta or NY.
But who cares about the potential for his trade value to plummet (highly unlikely that it will go anything but up from here) anyway, if they already can’t get enough to make the team better? They will just keep him as their starting center. That’s how he provides the most value currently and, under your scenario, that would simply remain true. And having him as their starting center is what the head coach wants anyway.

Can't find the article, the Knicks still would've had Mitch Robinson on the team and Lewis isn't so tuned in that he'd break a rumor like that over Bondy, Begley or Katz. I think it was a made up report.Split T wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 8:06 amWhy don’t you think the Randle deal was out there? It was a report from a New York guyShelC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 6:53 amI don't think there's a lot of interest and those rumored deals were mostly BS. Maybe we can pull Capela but I don't know why the Hawks do it. A deal with Portland for Nurk might be possible if they think it'll move the needle with Dame but we'd be worse defensively.
I don't think the Randle deal was out there and he'd be a bad fit here.

Still the point is neither of us know what his value is right now. If the suns are holding out for a huge return and that’s why they aren’t moving him, he definitely could lose value. Impossible to say without knowing where his value currently stands.
And the point is we are utilizing him as a 4th option and just need him to be a defensive anchor and make easy baskets. We could get that out of a lesser player like Clint Capela and get another player to add depth(which we sorely need).

I don’t understand why people feel the need to make stuff up like that…at least make it obvious if you’re trying to be funny.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 8:20 amThat was a fake story made up by @KhizHoop on Twitter.Split T wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 6:48 amWe’re playing a dangerous game…if Ayton isn’t awesome his trade value will plummet(if it hasn’t already). Looks like it was made up by a suns fan…and then some other person wrote an article based on the fake tweetShelC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 8:37 amCan't find the article, the Knicks still would've had Mitch Robinson on the team and Lewis isn't so tuned in that he'd break a rumor like that over Bondy, Begley or Katz. Re: All Things Ayton
The Wizards deal for their role players like Kispert, Gafford and Morris isn't super exciting but they'd provide the depth we say we're looking for. That'd be assuming the Wizards want to take on Ayton's contract. The Wizards could sell Poole and Ayton as a core duo rather than just letting Poole chuck 30 times a night and winning 18 games next year. Just not sure Kispert/Gafford and Morris are glamourous enough when sending out DA.

Re: All Things Ayton
What if you got Tyus and/or Avdija instead of Morris and/or Kispert?
Re: All Things Ayton
Sure. Can Tyus be packaged with other players after already being traded?

Re: All Things Ayton
No he can’t but if the trade hasn’t been finalized, it could get combined…otherwise you’d have to wait 60 days I think

Then Tyus couldn’t be involved

We could help with their L-Tax issue.

It’s a Flex vs Gambo battle about what’s happening with Ayton and unfortunately(or fortunately depending on who you are) Gambo has been way more accurate this offseason.

I’ll take Bogdanovic please
Cap/Bogi or Hunter/Bogi
Still think we need a spark off the bench

I’d prefer Hunter to Bogdon…we’d need the better defender
