Whether or not a deal goes down, I'm not sure how fans can claim we haven't been shopping or looking to trade DA. It's been going on since the draft and we're clearly looking to move on from him for one reason or another - be it his play, his contract, whatever. If he were on solid ground here, there'd be no talk around him whatsoever and certainly no rumors about including him in a deal for Nurk.
Even Flex is still saying that we are not shopping him, that other teams are calling and we are listening. That's all. He says other teams are interested because of his Bahamas performance and because they saw what happened with Mikal after he left Phoenix. These teams are thinking that Ayton could be the next Mikal (meaning Suns/Monty was holding him back), per Flex.
Sorry, but nobody is thinking Ayton could be the next Mikal.
I don't have anything to add to anything, I just want to be present for the miracle that is the 100th page of this seemingly unkillable comment thread.

He played 18 minutes per game in the Denver series…that’s not nothing.
You really thought Ayton was good against Denver?
A comparison of Ayton at his worst and Landale at his best is not reasonable. Furthermore, comparing per 36 is disingenuous. Landale can't play like that for 36 mins.
Ayton is better than how he played vs Denver, and Landale is worse.
Ayton for Nurkic is a dumb trade. The only reason to do it is to get below the 2nd Apron. It won't benefit them much. Who would they get with the TPMLE? And, if they use it, then they are over the Apron again, so what's point?
I don't see a player that would be included that would move the needle. Caleb Martin isn't good enough. Maybe Hield (how exactly does Indy get involved?), but the Suns need high quality role players, which Hield is not good at.
It wasn’t trying to compare the two. Just discussing who was better in that series. So it’s not picking the best of Landale and the worst of Ayton. It’s just asking who was better in that specific series. I think no question Jock was.
As for Ayton for Nurkic…no one wants to make that trade straight up. I’m not sure why it keeps getting brought up that way. We all expect something else to be involved. If you don’t think Caleb Martin is enough, that’s certainly a reasonable take. It’s enough for me though.
My guess is Suns trying to pry Shaedon Sharpe away from Portland.
Nurk, Sharpe, Little and maybe a 2nd or 2 for Ayton would be my guess as to what Suns would strongly consider.
And if that is the type of offer they get for Ayton I think all Suns fans should be incredibly happy.
Ayton has more TALENT than Nurk but Nurk is way more aggressive and a better rebounder. Not to mention can hit the 3 and plays aggressive in the paint. Basically hes the anti-Ayton.

Nobody knows what else is coming…how about this, who says no?
Indy gets Tyler Herro and Ish Wainright
Miami gets Dame and Hield
Portland gets Ayton, Lowry, Jovic, and 4 1sts(3 from Miami and 1 from Indy)
Phoenix gets Nurkic, Martin, and McConnell
Suns would have to release someone or include someone else in the trade(think Goodwin and Camara are only other tradable guys right now). Can we convert Camara to a 2-way?

No I just meant the trade happens before we get there. I do think a trade will keep us from getting to 200. But this thread will probably last a bit after a trade

151 pages of comments and trade proposals. If I were to guess, I would say that over the years approximately.002% of the trade proposals mentioned on this site actually happened. Needless to say I don’t put much stock in trade rumors or proposals.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

I get what you're saying but this one is picking up steam backed by Gambo when he normally shoots down 95% of the rumors.

It’s gonna be .003% when Nurkic, Martin, and TJ are all on the suns soon
