KD had no idea what we were running on that possession.

I'm loving Nurk in game 1. How bout this for your crunch time shots...

Okogie 3
Gordon 3
Nurk 2

KD hasn't looked good in the 2nd half

Booker was chirping a lot at the final whistle. I love how he hates to lose.

Yes sir Mfers!!! Tough, scrappy win with a lot of improvement in us. Book was amazing and Nurkic and Olivier played great supporting roles. Hope that kind of shooting isn’t the norm for KD, even if his length on D caused the Warriors some issues.

Relax.

18/10/3 with a block. That's far from washed.

But really, that has to be some play more efficient than letting KD shoot turnaround jumpers, right?

Thankfully just Game one of 82. If he still looking like that at game 20 I'll be worried. Yes he played poorly. I think his shot selection was his downfall.

Ugly win but it was just the first game. It's an all new team. Give them time they will gel.

Did you watch some of his crazy ass makes tonight? He still makes shots no one makes. Lol. His shots all night were all tough ones bunch of over contested turn arounds and off balance shots. Things will even out over the course of the year. He’s going to warrant most of the defensive attention from here on out and open up the game for Book and Beal. I just hope KD takes it easy in the regular season. He doesn’t need to avg 28 a game for the Suns to win a championship. Just play D, take your shots, and close.

Loved the response in the 4th but giving up a 40 point 3rd was rough to watch. When they’re clicking they’re scary good. The end of that second was beautiful basketball that TNT decided to ruin by making us listen to Draymond rationalize how the CP experiment was going to work.

Gotta say, Okogie is a joy to watch. Chasing Steph all game, but still hounding the offense boards and hitting multiple (as well as another that was overturned) and-1s. He took a big shot in the clutch without hesitating. Great game for him.

A petty highlight for me was watching how well Nurk played, and then watching Chuck describe “the problem” with Deandre Ayton. Even though he picked the wrong -ch in Nurkic, and stuck with it.

Book phenomenal
Nurk and Okogie good
KD looked rusty
Allen had a bad one
Gordon showed up when it counted.

1-0, let’s get Beal back and send Lakers to an 0-2 start
