Right, STAT was also lame, but at least he backed it up.

I don't believe he named himself that, I'm sure there's video stating that it was a family thing.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 3:37 pmRight, STAT was also lame, but at least he backed it up.

We’re not ignoring it, we’re going to evaluate it for ourselves now that he’s on our team.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 12:41 pmA lot of the criticism (from Blazers fans) is also his consistency in his production and effort level. But of course the Hayters are going to ignore that.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 12:36 pmI want to wait and see how durable DomiNurkic can be. I loved the way he played the other night, and if he keeps that up, I'll be happy with this trade. But a lot of the criticism of Nurk is about his durability, so if he misses half the season, that'll take my appraisal of the trade down a notch.
Re: All Things Ayton
I'm predicting that most will ignore his inconsistency on the Suns simply because he's not Ayton or he makes less money.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:43 pmWe’re not ignoring it, we’re going to evaluate it for ourselves now that he’s on our team.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 12:41 pmA lot of the criticism (from Blazers fans) is also his consistency in his production and effort level. It also helps that he doesn’t call himself DomiNurkić.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:47 pmI'm predicting that most will ignore his inconsistency on the Suns simply because he's not Ayton or he makes less money.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:43 pmWe’re not ignoring it, we’re going to evaluate it for ourselves now that he’s on our team.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 12:41 pmA lot of the criticism (from Blazers fans) is also his consistency in his production and effort level. Ayton would have caught a lot less crap on this board if he had carried himself with some self awareness and humility. The huge gap between the way he talks about himself and the way he applies himself on the court is just asking for it.

Re: All Things Ayton
Those are good reasons actually. I don’t think they’ll be ignored but less frustrating since he makes half the money and doesn’t claim he’s going to dominate.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:47 pmI'm predicting that most will ignore his inconsistency on the Suns simply because he's not Ayton or he makes less money.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:43 pmWe’re not ignoring it, we’re going to evaluate it for ourselves now that he’s on our team.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 12:41 pmA lot of the criticism (from Blazers fans) is also his consistency in his production and effort level. Depends on what he’s inconsistent at…energy and hustle? Nah, he’ll get called out for that. Defense and shooting? I think we expect inconsistency there. You hold people accountable to what they are capable of. Ayton was capable of a lot and often didn’t live up to that.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:47 pmI'm predicting that most will ignore his inconsistency on the Suns simply because he's not Ayton or he makes less money.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:43 pmWe’re not ignoring it, we’re going to evaluate it for ourselves now that he’s on our team.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 12:41 pmA lot of the criticism (from Blazers fans) is also his consistency in his production and effort level. 2 fouls on the bench, Portland looks like it's gonna get blown off the court.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 7:52 pmI'm actually quite enjoying my Ayton takes being completely validated.

Not to mention being completely lost on the defensive end and zero offensive domination.TOO wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 7:53 pm2 fouls on the bench, Portland looks like it's gonna get blown off the court.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 7:52 pmI'm actually quite enjoying my Ayton takes being completely validated.
