If the over/under was 4 years on a Wemby MVP, what do you take?

The overreacting from the Internet after 5 games is a sight to behold.
It’s really annoying lol

It’s 5 games!!

Everyone forget how rough we looked in 20/21 when we started 8-8? Made the finals that year.

How about the very next year where started like gang busters dominated the whole league? Ended in the most embarrassing game 7 performance in recent nba history.

The early season is bit of a crap shoot, totally fine to wait more than 5 games before sounding the alarm bells.
It's crazy, Suns still aren't even 100%, there will be many more growing pains along the way.
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Grant Nelson or Tyler Kolek.

Barring injuries, under.

Totally forgot 20/21 we started rough.. it’s still early and our team has had a lot of changes, and injuries. No need to panic 🫨

Wemby was something else. Was at the game tonight. The way he moves is unreal. Awesome to see him but man I came a long way to see the Suns lose to a team that is supposed to not be very good.. There was no spark or energy until the 4th quarter.

Good to see you, sose! Sucks that you made all that effort just to see the guys give away another game.

Refs are getting us used to getting f-ked for the next 15 years. Can't convince me the NBA isn't rigged when the Spurs end up with Wemby.

I understand he’s the next big thing but good lord Wemby already has HOF whistle.
And this is just the start. Just our luck he has his breakout game against us. What if he continues to get better this season? It’s almost not fair when he gets the switch and some regular 6’7” guy is guarding him under the hoop.
Honestly couldn’t understand why Eubanks kept switching to the perimeter so Gordon and Booker would have to guard Wemby on the block.

Ya he needs to be a never switch guy and immediate double if you do switch.

Sose!

Also, Wemby is going to be a problem. He already is a problem.

I remember being down when the DBacks lost almost every game one month this season. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Those two games will definitely leave a mark. Swiss cheese defense. The Spurs made it look effortless. Ouch!

I liked what I saw from KBD. He didn’t seem trying to force things like in preseason. I think it’s different when he plays with KD and Book on the floor, he gets to drive the paint or take an open shot. I had him over Okogie initially. We shall see…

Why the Spurs of all teams? That doesn't make sense.

Well that was quite the game
I was one also saying that it's a sick joke by the Suns to beat the Spurs the exact same way but as others have said credit to the young guys for their response at 116

Watching Book do work softens the blow for me
Just want him cut down on the turnovers and once his games played and our win totals start to go up he will have to generating some national buzz

I felt bad for Yuta after seeing the feature about his parents being in town for these two games
On pregame, they said his parents advice was Hit your open shots and his response was he plans to hit as many as he can. So that's kind of a bummer, Asians are very disciplined so to see him throw down his towel after getting subbed said it all

He had two great looks that would have ripped the roof of the arena to take the lead and just overthought it. He’ll bounce back.

I think he's a player that will look better with the starters than with the bench, especially because he allows us to go a little bigger.

I do think that's kind of the thing our roster is missing - a 4/5 who you can credibly play in between Nurk and KD at the 4, so we can run jumbo lineups. Someone like Bobby Portis. Maybe Metu can be something like that?

His parents being there put pressure on him and he choked.
