All Things Ayton
Re: All Things Ayton
Better yet how many points would he have to score the rest of the season to make that happen? I’m betting he’ll miss enough games to excuse this.

Re: All Things Ayton
He is 173 total points behind Jerami Grant. Both have played 19 games.

Ya I think we can call it. Wish him the best. No need for us to keep score anymore

Funny enough there hasn’t been anyone to throw any water on it. Weird.
Re: All Things Ayton
They’re down right now, but DA will go on a 6-7 game run at some point this season where he reminds everyone of his upside and the White Knights of Aytonistan will feel rejuvenated enough to come back out of their holes so they can blame the other 80% of DA’s season on everyone else.

You speak as if it’s multiple people lol
Re: All Things Ayton
Umm yeah, in case you don’t remember, we used to actually win basketball games with Ayton.
And yeah I miss having someone on the roster who played with heart and passion and whose energy could carry the team for entire games as Book once said.

Re: All Things Ayton
Ayton's averaging 13 points despite being one of the only tried and tested "star-caliber" players on the Blazers. I expected him to come out guns blazing and average double that PPG. What else can I say except that he's been a disappointment? Not completely giving up on him but he looks more like Joe Barely Cares than David Robinson.JeremyG wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 9:53 amIt’s funny how biased and selective y’alls memories are.TOO wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 9:47 amLooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.
Of course, the greater disappointment for me has been the way the Suns have played...but there's time for them to figure it out and I expect that they will.
Re: All Things Ayton
The silly thing is, the Ayton trade is the one major deal I -would- keep. I'd undo the KD trade; I'd undo the Beal trade. Give me my sweet Mikal Bridges and CP3 back. But I'd ship Ayton out again 100%. Nurk and Little have been such a breath of fresh air. I miss 0% of Ayton's bullshit.
