Bamba is a C we should look at, fits what Bud does.

I was skeptical of Bol at first but saw a lot more potential and upside towards the latter part of the season.
I just wish he could put some weight on and not get pushed around but I just don't think his frame can take it. He needs to be eating 300 grams of protein a day.

Yes to Bol, Yes to Bamba, yes to Wright…sure on Dinwiddie…don’t think I want Russ…if it’s the Russ who harassed the suns on defense in the playoffs last year? Then yes…but you’ll also have to take the 3/17 Russ.

I’ll 2nd the moving of Grayson to the bench…or Beal…but it better be for someone good. Not just like Royce O’Neale.

I like Royce O'Neale. + defender. I hope he can improve on his three point shot inconsistency.

I like Royce too, but he’s a bench guy

Maybe Bud can turn Bol into taller Bobby Portis.

Bobby Portis plays with an attitude that Bol does not have.

That’s okay. A Bobby Portis-lite that’s more finesse than attitude is good enough. He’s 7’3” and still 24, if he can shoot and make 3s at a decent clip and limit his defensive mistakes, I’ll be happy.

I really think one of the only ways to improve the roster meaningfully is to move Beal for 2 or 3 solid role players. Getting him to waive his NTC and finding a team willing to absorb his salary are obviously challenges. Orlando’s been suggested and makes some sense.

If he sponsors the college football championship and makes it the Bol Bol Bowl, I’ll be happy. Especially if I can get a commemorative bowl from the game. I’ll smoke a bowl before using that bowl, and it will be my Bol Bol Bowl bowl bowl.

Miami supposedly passed on him over the summer but may be willing to re-visit now that Dame is on the Bucks. The Heat were his initial choice for a trade so I can't imagine he'd turn down a move there. Just not sure if Miami would be interested in giving up 3-4 pieces to make the salaries work.

I agree! Put Bol on specialsauce's mom's diet. (Happy Mother's Day!)

We should all probably prepare for no changes to the big 3…is be surprised if any is traded.

Sadly, I think you're right. Another wasted season coming up.

Agreed. We 'should' trade Durant but in reality we'll run it back with a different coach and a new supporting cast of vet minimums.

If it were up to me, I would trade Durant (and maybe others like Nurk or Grayson). I wouldn't trade Booker personally.

But I can understand why the team wants to give it another year. Vogel wasn't an ideal fit for this roster, and we now know a lot more about how this team can go wrong. There is some validity to the thinking that another year of continuity / chemistry, plus Coach Bud, plus a thoughtful set of bench / depth signings, plus maybe a trade or two, plus running 100% of the offense through Eubanks, could yield a much better result in the coming year.

IMO the biggest fear is the risk of injury, especially to Durant. I know last year felt like we had a bunch of injuries, but actually outside of Beal we were quite healthy, specifically guys like KD and Nurkic who have often missed large stretches of the season but played almost 100% of last season. We may not be so blessed next time. It will be hard to improve on last year's record if, say, KD or Book misses a big stretch of games.
