Flex doesn't know shit. He always phrases things in such a way that if he turns out to be wrong (which is often), he can wiggle out of it and just say that things changed. I really don't think he has any legit sources any more. He got a bit of popularity from having a temporary connection to Chris Paul's camp, but now that's exhausted and he has nothing.

Flex only crawls outta hell a garage when someone else puts the Suns on a rumor. This time it was Shams.

He did bring up KD to Phoenix first too…he’s had some injury news too. I think his source is someone in the Booker camp. He definitely doesn’t have a front office source.

I find the Flex hate around here to be fascinating. Imo, he doesn't deserve the hate, and I am having a hard time figuring out where it's coming from.

My reason for believing Flex is pretty simple-

I want Jimmy Butler to be traded here and he’s saying Jimmy Butler is going to be traded, which is what I want to hear. Sounds good to me. Hell yeah. 🙏🫶

I don’t think he deserves hate, but you do open yourself up to criticism if you are going to claim inside sources.

I think it’s clear he has some sort of connection, but I think he also is an unreliable insider. It’s hard to know when he’s just being optimistic or when he’s actually reporting something. The non-stop praise of the suns/ishbia/etc is tough too…you lose credibility if you seem biased.

Ultimately you gotta take him for what he is. He’s a suns homer who might occasionally have a little more inside knowledge than the rest of us. Just know he’s always going to paint things in the suns favor and that his source probably isn’t that good.

He has no inside. He's literally some chump that got a following somehow and makes things up after national guys and Gambo break news. And he leaves it as vague as possible and commits to nothing so he can have an out.

We either trade for Butler or we trade everyone but the rookies and rebuild. Butler at least intrigues me enough to give it a shot. I just don’t see any other moves out there that can turn this team into a title contender. Even with Butler, we’d still need to make additional moves to get a bit more size and preferably an upgrade at center.
Ishbia isn't blowing it up. Swap Beal and Butler and then get a big before the trading deadline. Nurk, Okogie, and Allen all available for making the deadline deal.
Agreed. We are top10 offense, bottom 1/3 defense. Adding Butler and removing Nurkic for something playable would give the team a considerable boost.

I think it goes beyond that. If your best player (KD) isn't playing hard and doing the little things, it filters down. As many clips as people post on social media of Nurk, you could pull just as many of KD not closing out hard or getting a hand up on shooters or not boxing out and giving up a rebound.

He got a following because he said CP3 to the suns and KD to the suns before anyone else. I agree most of the time he’s just following someone else, but he was definitely first on those major acquisitions.

He literally throws darts at the wall and hopes something hits. His guesses are completely non commital.

The suns MAY MAKE A HUGE TRADE BUT THEY MAY NOT OR IT MAY BE A SMALL TRADE

Not to mention stupid turnovers. How many times is he going to try to thread the needle and with the purpose of trying to get it to Nurk of all people?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Waiting until the middle of January just seems like a complete waste of time to me. Beal is simply not a good fit on this team and that should be clear to even the most casual of fans. If the Butler trade has even the slightest chance of happening, they need to pursue it immediately.

I’m led to believe that holding off crap must be actually coming from either Miami’s side or Beal’s because it doesn’t benefit us in any way to wait it out.

Again I agree that’s what he mostly does, but that’s not what he did for CP3/KD. He said CP3 would be on the suns…then he said KD wants the suns. He was very specific with those.

Don’t want to seem desperate. If we’re desperate, Miami has all the leverage. Make Miami sweat that they’ll just have to let Butler walk.

This comes off as jealousy. Like he's not worthy of the gatekeepers, and he doesn'thave the annointed creds to say anything. No one is as important as they think they are, including all of us. I've never seen or heard him talk bad about anyone, yet he's the topic of all kinds of irrational hate.

He was around way way before anything about CP3.

I think he just hates Nurk's incessant moping and whining so he's doing all he can to shut him TF up.
