This is basically where I am about it as well. The Suns’ pursuit of Butler would have died off long ago if they weren’t in constant communication with Beal regarding a trade. Now whether the deal occurs or not I’m not sure, but talks would almost certainly not have continued for this long if it was dead on arrival this whole time.
