Let these rumors drag on for two months, ruined the locker room, and did jack shit. Stayed on this course destined to crash and burn short and long term.

Not a bad Hail Mary for GSW, but turning Wiggins into Butler is probably just incremental, at least until the playoffs.

Their choice was ultimately KD or Butler. Most eveyrone here hates their decision, but I definitely don't. That swap gets the Suns no where now or in the future.

Again, if they're trading KD, the summer will return better options.

So do we think Butler is okay with being on the Warriors? Or will he be upset and pout about not being sent to his preferred destination?

Welp, can't wait to see the Suns somehow add a bum like Julius Randle or some shit. CHAOS!

Beal might be the largest albatross of a contract ever in the NBA. Really can't remember anything this crippling.

Glad this saga is over. Trade Nurk for a center or solid PF. No point in having Grayson with Beal here. Same as Nurk, see if you can get a C or PF, my preference is see if we can just get extra draft assets.

Trade Tyus for any draft capital.

I’m still hoping OKC or Houston will make a great offer for KD before the deadline.

Only if they take Beal too

I guarantee neither of them are calling with a serious offer for KD in the next 24 hours.

Better off hoping the Suns can turn Nurkic into someone who'll actually be in the rotation next week.

Same, but doubt it.

Let this be a lesson to Ishbia about trading significant assets for players (Beal) that are difficult to trade for a reason. Never again.

I'm talking about you, Patrick Williams

OK. There's the smoking gun.

Suns were willing to let him opt-in and extend for 2 more years, but it seems the Warriors would only do this opt-out and 2 year extension deal. Miami told Butler he wasn't going to Phoenix without a KD deal, so he accepted that Warriors deal with one less year of guaranteed big money.

I get you but not even in the same ballpark. 23yo making $18M per, athletic forward shooting 40% from 3pt. Beal makes almost x3, and above all is extremely redundant with Booker. If all it takes for CHI is Nurkic, I'd really consider it. If they ask for a pick, forget it.

Use Nurk to go get Portis or Obi?

Would still do Grayson to the Magic for Gray Harris + both of next year’s ‘25 1st

Or Anthony black and a 1st.

Or Beal and 1st for KCP and Isaac

Lots of combinations if ORL wanted Beal. But I believe if they actually did, he'd be gone by now. Hopefully there is still time to pull something off, but not holding my breath.

The Allen deal for Harris and picks doesn't sit well because it feels a bit like dumping. Losing a viable rotation player for 2 picks sends a bad message to the vets. If you're trading Allen you need a legit rotation player back.
