I don't do this normally but...
Spoiler: show/hide
It's good for a joke post (I don't think you really believe we could lose by that much) but it still doesn't count. No approximates allowed.
I don't care about semantics, JJ wins.

This game is the difference between a team that plays with heart vs one without one.
I think it’s just a great team vs a mediocre team
Yep. Ishbia failed with this overpaid roster that doesn't jive together.
OKC bit the bullet and bottomed out, and they traded all their assets and built with young players. You can do that if you consistantly make good draft choices and trades.
Even if we traded off all our assets and had a horrible rest of the season, our first round draft pick would be end of the round, right?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I find it weird to predict we're going to get our asses kicked and then be upset when it happens.

Did anyone honestly think the Suns would have a chance in this game? OKC is in first place for a reason and the Suns were without KD and everyone on edge about being traded.

The draft pick part has sailed. And I don't trust them to consistantly make good trades.

I'm not mad about this loss. OKC are in a completely different league than we are right now, and we're missing one of our top 2 scorers. Plus there were all the trade deadline distractions. The team's mojo is near rock bottom. I really hope Ishbia and JJ see what's going on here and trade as many of these guys as they can (sans Booker) for picks and assets. Tyus for a 2nd? OK. Royce for a future 1st? Byeeeee. Grayson for an expiring? Adios muchaco. Blow it up.

It’s quite a feat for this team to almost make you wistful for the Josh Jackson/ Dragan Bender days…

I think a lot of it is the way it happened. We played really well in the first half other than a meltdown to end it. However, that meltdown continued the rest of the game. OKC sure showed their dominance. Our team pales in comparison. With or without KD.

Yeah, say goodbye to our G league team. And our scouts. And our trainers. And the Gorilla. And the security guards in the arena.

I'm ok with any of those except the gorilla. Without the gorilla there is no Suns.

First time trying, definitely beginner's luck.

I know you're probably half joking, but it isn't even close to me. Back then we had almost nobody on the roster who was likable or who you could cheer for. The 2010s were some really rough years. Dragic kept me sane for a few years. And eventually we had a young Booker to watch. But almost everybody on the roster back then made you want to punch them in the face. This team, I actually like most of the individual players but they just add up to be a shitty mediocre basketball team.

Definitely joking - those years were brutal. But this team just sucks the joy out of watching basketball and barracking for the Suns. And we have mortgaged our future for it.

Only watched the 1st half, saw updates about the start of the 2nd half on social so knew where this was headed. I thought we played well enough in the first half offensively but had a feeling it wouldn't last. We shot really well and were only up 3 going into halftime but that's what it takes to even stay close. We know we can't shoot like that all game and don't have the defensive players to slow anyone down.
