If you take the Toronto package the “OR” needs to be IQ. You can’t have a potential starting lineup with Dunn, Poeltl and RJ. The spacing would be rough.

It would be rough…we’d go all in on defense and make Booker/RJ make tough shots in a crowded paint.

Better? Yes. Good? Not really. Scoring outside of the Book is gonna be a real problem with the Twolves deal. Unless Dillingham has a breakout year. I kinda think he’s gonna be bust tbh. Our ceiling is probably a 8th seed at best. I think the Raps deal could potentially put us closer to the 6th seed only because we get 2 solid starters at a premium positions in PG and C with Quickley and Poeltl. Plus l like the prospects at 9 a lot more than at 17 haha.

Yes, I’m fine with Oso as our backup C next year. I’m okay with just getting draft capital for players that’s clearly not in our future plans. Richards is in the last year of his deal, so do you really think Richards is here next year? I don’t, so get some 2nd rounders for him.

I like the Minnesota deal, if we aren’t going to do a rebuild. If they throw in another first rounder, it would be a home run at this point.

Dillingham still has potential to be a starting point guard. DiVincenzo can replace Grayson. And Gobert is a good starting center, and his salary is decreasing the next three years. Plus you get the draft pick(s)? Sign me up.

I just think Minnesota is getting cold feet due to Durant not wanting to be there, or else it would be done by now. If Ant could help change his mind, they might throw in a second pick.

In terms of the Raptors, it blows all of these other deals out of the water. And I would take RJ over Quickley; Quickley is talented, but his contract is gross. RJ is productive and is on a reasonable deal. You could easily flip him if he isn't in the long-term plan.

Because the real target has always been Houston. We have more leverage on them than the other trade partners because we largely control the value of these picks. Playing hardball with them.
