We should have been able to get Whitmore and the seconds. I even read that we chose the seconds over our 2027 first.
I would doubt that, but yes if we took the 2nds over our 2027 1st, that was dumb.
!!! Where did you read this?? If true, totally outrageous. So much so that I plain don't buy it. On the other hand, the second rounders instead of Whitmore, I could see myself also doing that because if I think about it carefully, if I had gotten Cam in the trade, my first instinct would have been to shop him around to get as much draft capital as possible, especially considering the other players acquired in the trade.
