Beal-Hachimura
That's not a bad top 7, if everyone is healthy and buys in and plays their role. That's a couple of big ifs.

I don't know that it's "insane" but it is yet another Detroit tie in. If Ishbia ever moves this team, so help me!

I'll say the fans down here do not seem thrilled with his draft and off-season moves.

He made one of the worst trades I've ever seen in my life on draft night. Completely indefensible even if it somehow works out.

I guess I haven't been paying attention. What was the horrible trade? I just remembered him being a competent front office guy back in the day (I thought).Shabazz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 12:02 pmHe made one of the worst trades I've ever seen in my life on draft night. I assume you're talking about the latter move for Poole? Yeah, pretty, pretty, pretty bad. OK, phew!AI Overview:
The New Orleans Pelicans made a notable trade during the 2025 NBA draft, acquiring the 13th overall pick (Derik Queen) from the Atlanta Hawks by trading their 23rd pick and an unprotected 2026 first-round draft pick. This move has drawn criticism, particularly regarding the unprotected future first-round pick. The Pelicans also traded CJ McCollum to the Wizards for Jordan Poole and the 40th pick.

The Poole move was bad, but the unprotected pick when you have barely made the play-ins and are reshaping the roster is also really bad.
Go Suns!

I was listening to AZ Sports radio the yesterday and according to Gambo, other than adding a guard, the Suns are done.

No - the former move. Trading away an unprotected pick in a draft that has 3 franchise-level players to move up 10 spots when your team is likely to miss the playoffs is an unmitigated disaster. They may not even have ended up with a better player in the draft.Superbone wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 12:06 pmI guess I haven't been paying attention. What was the horrible trade? OK, then that is TWO bad trades on draft night. I now understand our dodged bullet. Thanks.Shabazz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 12:27 pmNo - the former move. And for a big who projects to be the new Al Jefferson at best but who could flame out like Jahlil Okafor (have you seen him in summer league? Obvious skills but severe physical limitations). Really crazy move, especially when you need to put him next to Zion.Shabazz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 12:27 pmNo - the former move.
