The PHNX guys are talking about options for the 15th roster spot. Are we even certain they’re going to add another player at this point?

Goodwin played well for the Lakers last year. I like him too, and thought he got yanked in and out of the Suns rotation too haphazardly when he played here.

But we did need more of a Butler type. This team still has a massive "creator" problem. Who is initiating offense for this team when one of Booker or Green is sitting and the other one gets doubled? Dunn, Royce, Brooks, NHD, Fleming, Williams, Maluach, Goodwin, none of these guys can consistently and effectively create shots. Grayson, Gilly and Oso being our next best creators is no bueno.

I think he's bullshitting here. He would have had to know that Smart was signing with the Lakers and that they would waive Goodwin and he said the "guard" thing well before it all went down. I also think he was talking about Smart and he's now retrofitting Goodwin into his "insider info."
