Suns Get Little Respect in New NBA Power Rankings
After a lot of changes this offseason, NBA.com does not have Phoenix high on its rankings.

What do you consider of worth? They went to round 2 in the bubble and collapsed against Denver and Jokic…they faced us in the WCF the next year, though Kawhi was out with an acl tear from round 2. I don’t recall what happened the year after that, but then we faced them in round 1 the 1st year of KD and PG was hurt(then Kawhi got hurt). So making the WCF is the biggest thing they did.

True true, without looking, it felt like after that shot the hype of those two went away.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 6:28 pmWhat do you consider of worth? Ya I think the bubble was their moment. That was year 1, both were healthy, but it seemed they weren’t in the right headspace. I think most people definitely viewed it as LA vs LA s the two best teams…but then they choked big time against Denver.iLLmatic wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 10:04 pmTrue true, without looking, it felt like after that shot the hype of those two went away.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Aug 04, 2025 6:28 pmWhat do you consider of worth? I do think the year we beat them in the WCF that they probably win the title if Kawhi doesn’t get hurt…we had a hard time with them…but Kawhi and pg getting hurt is ultimately the story that everyone will remember about their time together.

You could probably assume that Giddey isn't available while Kuminga obviously is.

Plus, that segment had NOTHING to do with a PG, Giddey, or Kuminga. Just why we went with two bigs.

Honestly, I'd love to get Kuminga as long as it is done without giving up much in the way of assets from our end. He's a legit, athletic power forward who dropped 30 in a playoff game last year and can be a threat from 3. I think he'll defer to Booker, which we've lacked the past few years with KD on the team. He's got size and I think fits well within our newly adjusted timeline.

I wouldn't mind it either as long as we don't throw the kitchen sink at GS to get him. I think and hope Ishbia has learned that lesson. At least we know the Suns haven't succumbed so far. And Dunn isn't going anywhere. I got an email from the Suns about purchasing tickets for next season and it featured pics of Book and Dunn.TOO wrote: ↑Fri Aug 08, 2025 10:05 amI'm honestly just pro talent at this point, gimme all the talented misfits and let's get weird.wpmiller42 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 08, 2025 9:09 amHonestly, I'd love to get Kuminga as long as it is done without giving up much in the way of assets from our end. I wanna know why we didn’t trade for Jokic
