Best case would be CG proving he's the PG we need on the floor and we find a viable trade for Green midseason.
That’s kinda dark. The best case scenario is that Green breaks out *and* Colin is the answer at PG. As much as we are tired of these dual SG lineups, Green hasn’t done anything to earn our ire. My Rockets fan friends say that he’s got a good head on his shoulders and he has a great attitude, and I’m rooting for him to succeed.

There's nothing dark about it. It's a preference on roster construction. I didn't disparage or wish ill on Green. Nice player, just don't like his fit here because it means PointBook, which I don't believe is a viable path to winning.

Yea I don’t get the “dark” comment either and with you. Just because a player doesn’t align with roster construction doesn’t mean anyone doesn’t like someone. Honestly at this point of the rebuild I’d rather trade Book for pieces we actually need and let Green cook because it just makes a lot more sense if we’re rebuilding, but now I’m labeled as an enemy because I said we should trade Book even though I own more Booker jerseys than any other sun, FML.

Dude. That's self-imposed enemy status. Come on, man. We have no enemies here.

You’re allowed to want to trade Book…and people are allowed to think you’re crazy 🤪.

I get wanting to trade him, but I think we owe him a year or two to see what happens. If we go nowhere, you probably gotta make a move.

Wanting to trade arguably the best player in Suns history in his prime to try to get another Booker and stink without having your own picks while you stink just makes zero sense. You cant trade Booker to a bad team, so you trade him to a good team to get bad picks?

Especially a guy who wants to spend his career here and win a championship. Makes zero sense to me but of course everybody is welcome to their opinions. I'm not interested in starting from scratch and "trusting the process". Look at what that accomplished for Philly over a very long period.

I'm good with the mix and match we have now with the veteran and rookie/2nd year players. Still kills me that we gave up Camara though.

Agreed…would be tricky to find a trade that makes sense…would probably need to be a trade built on an already established top 3 pick.

Got it…. I’m out discussing anything here. If your opinion doesn’t align with you, belittling and bashing is completely fine. So much for having respect for anyone’s opinion.

Calling someone crazy who’s openly discussed mental health issues is where I draw the line. I’m out.

I think you’re taking this a bit too personally. Calling you crazy for wanting to trade Booker has nothing to do with your mental health. I’ve read every post in the Suns section and didn’t remember anything about you mentioning mental health struggles, sorry I missed it or forgot. There are 1000s of posts here. We don’t remember every single one. You have good input and I’ve enjoyed what you post. (Except about trading Booker. 😂😂😂)jk

I didn't even know what you (Krypto) were talking about. I had to go back and re-read the posts. Split was just making a joke. I don't think anybody here thinks you are crazy and we all value your presence here. Obviously, you took it personally but I don't believe it was meant that way. We don't condone name calling here or personal attacks.

I’m very sorry if you thought I was belittling and bashing you. That was far from my intention. I was trying to say that I understand someone might want to trade Booker, even if I disagree. I am sorry for my poor choice of words and I assure you there was no malice intended. I enjoy your contribution to the board and hope you feel comfortable continuing to share your opinion.

You're a big help. Sheesh. And who here can't tolerate any criticism? It's called discussion. You want to make the rules on what people should think? THAT is lame.

This entire conversation is depressing. When did dot.net turn into such a toxic place, however you look at this issue?

The Suns have been pretty depressing...but I suspect the team might turn around this year. Keep the faith.

Devin Booker Still Viewed as Top NBA Shooting Guard
The Athletic is still really high on Devin Booker heading into the 2025-26 season.
https://www.si.com/nba/suns/news/devin- ... ting-guard
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has been falling in some rankings after a down year for himself and the Suns in the 2024-25 season.

Many feel he has to take another step to prove himself once again after he saw a big dip in both his field goal and 3-point percentage last season, while the Suns missed the playoffs for the first time in five years with a 36-46 record.

However, The Athletic's Zach Harper is still really high on Booker, ranking him as the No. 2 shooting guard in the NBA behind only Anthony Edwards.

Donovan Mitchell was No. 3 on the list, as him, Booker and Edwards comprised Harper's potential MVP candidates tier.

https://goblueraiders.com/news/2025/8/2 ... suns-staff
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee great and former Coordinator of Player Development Reggie Upshaw has been named the Player Development and Video Coordinating Assistant for the NBA's Phoenix Suns, announced Sunday.

"I am beyond excited to start this new chapter in my young coaching career," said Upshaw. "It's always been a dream of mine to do what I love at the highest level and now I have that opportunity! Thanks to the entire Blue Raider community for welcoming me back for two more unforgettable years and allowing me to start my coaching career with all of you the same way I did my playing career. I am forever thankful. Go Blue!"

This is different. This is a guy who is known for BEATING Michigan State.
