Game Day: Kings (0-0) @ Suns (0-0), Wed 10/22/25

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: AZ Family 3TV, NBALP

Getting this up a little early. Suns opening night basketball is almost upon us! Here's to a much more fun to watch season than what we were subjected to last season. At the very least, these Suns should give good effort from tip to final buzzer. Sabonis will be out for the Kings and Green will be out for the Suns. However, Westbrook will be making his Kings debut and Mark Williams, his Suns debut.

Let's hope the Suns can turn that avatar up to at least a medium heat.

Win or lose, I am just really happy not to be watching last season's team ever again. Good riddance.

And I think we can beat this Kings team.

Here’s to spending at least some part of this season above 500.

From NBA.com:
The Suns are expected to open with newcomer Jalen Green accompanying Booker in the backcourt, although neither is a true point guard. Forwards Dillon Brooks and Ryan Dunn will join center Mark Williams. Brooks and Green arrived in the offseason trade that sent Durant to Houston, and Williams was acquired in a separate deal.
Come on, you idiots. It's been known for a while that Green isn't playing tonight. I expect that starting line up but with Allan replacing Green.
Center Sabonis was ruled out of the first two games after suffering a Grade 1 hamstring strain in a preseason loss to the Los Angeles Clippers last week. He averaged 19.1 points and a league-leading 13.9 rebounds per game last season, his sixth straight year averaging a double-double.

Power forward Murray, who signed a five-year, $140 million extension last week, is expected to miss about a month after suffering a torn UCL in his left thumb against Portland on Oct. 10.

Veteran acquisitions Dario Saric and Drew Eubanks and second-year center Isaac Jones are possible frontcourt stand-ins.
We may see a large dose of former Suns Saric and Eubanks tonight.

I'm looking forward to Williams debut. And hoping for an injury-free one!

I think it's good we get a team "on our level" for first home game cause I expect us to win with their injury situation

I would have still had high hopes even if the Kings were with Sabonis

Keep the vibes up, start the season with a win 😊🙌

That is a very strange starting line up. We have so many wings and swings on this roster. Glad Dunn is starting; I have been worried that Ott would undervalue him or bury him behind "veterans" like Brooks, but hopefully that won't be the case.

Happy opening night!

Also, watching LP through Amazon and it's stuck on a really close up view and it doesn't appear that there any other options

EDIT: Nevermind found the local broadcast option

Go Suns!

Brooks is 3-11. He has over twice as many shots as any other Sun.

Mark Williams is out there but nobody seems to be looking for him.

This is a very rough start thus far. It’s only game one but…

Welp, didn't know veteran players could have first game jitters but here we are.
