Game Day: Spurs (5-0) @ Suns (2-4), Sun 11/2/25

Time: 6:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: AZ Family 3TV, NBALP

It's Wemby, dammit! The freak of nature comes to the Valley Sunday evening along with the Spurs strongest start in franchise history (5-0). It will be no easy task for the Suns following their most compete game of the early season last time out. Brooks and Green remain out and Livers is doubtful.

Refs take Williams out with 3 fouls in the 1st qtr, Oso fouls out in the 2nd qtr. Wemby gets at least a triple double, maybe a quadruple double with blocks. Some roleplayer like Keldon Johnson hits four 3s.

The Spurs fans sure are confident in the ease of getting a win against this Suns team. See the comments at the end of this article.

It will be interesting to see how we try to contain Wemby for sure and if we have any success at all in doing so. He's started the season in beast mode.

We’ve been saving our Wemby stopper just for this…let’s go Maluach

That would be fun to see. Is Coach Ott that adventurous to give him real minutes against him?

With a full strength lineup I think we'd put up a good fight but with Brooks and Green out I think this will be an exercise in damage limitation

Nah, I think he's still trying to win games.

No surprise here we go with the same group.
Might sound ridiculous but I was curious to see Royce try to guard Wemby but he's starting at 5, they've been doing double bigs at times

My theory is nobody is challenging Wemby shot up top but Royce has some of the quickest hands and stripping him is one of your only hopes tbh. Wanted to see if this would have been a ridiculous take on my part lol

Anyways let's how the guys battle tonight ✌🏾👍🏾

Fun to watch so far. Swarming defense and generating a lot of deflections. Only eyesore is watching Grayson Allen drive and throw it away.

Everyone playing well, offense a bit choppy because of Wemby inside but overall the ball movement and player movement's been great. Everyone seems to be on the same page. Suns have gameplanned Wemby really well, crowding him with defenders and making the others make shots which has worked well so far.

Someone has to play the KD role.

Pretty much a perfect first half. I'd argue as good as any half they played last season.

Two quarters down, two to go. What a great first half! Wemby only 2 points?! Wow.
