Fun to watch so far. Swarming defense and generating a lot of deflections. Only eyesore is watching Grayson Allen drive and throw it away.
Someone has to play the KD role.
But do they?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Pretty much a perfect first half. I'd argue as good as any half they played last season.
Could have been even better if they could have stopped those corner threes.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Book has 9 assists already, wow.

I love the way Gillespie is playing so far to start the season. Really building on the strong finish he had last year and making us look smart for keeping him.

This is fun…even if there is some 3 point variance…we are playing hard and have really frustrated Wemby…

Yeah, we can beat anyone when we shoot 70% from 3. Bring on the Thunder!
Go Suns!

Three almost perfect quarters now...

I feel a little guilty saying it, but I kind of like how we are being rough with Wemby. Don't just let this guy finesse his way to 40 points.

Lot of bad fouls and turnovers all of a sudden. Spurs seeing signs of life.

Book orchestrates a great stretch here. Draws multiple fouls, drives to the basket, collapses the defense, and finds Dunn for a wide open 3.

Spurs are overrated. Was surprised so many people thought we’d get blown out. Wemby is awesome no doubt, but they’ll be a fringe playoff team imo
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Spurs pulled their starters and we're now in garbage time. The rooks getting a few minutes! Book ends the game with 28 points on 10-15 shooting, along with 13 big assists. I'm not a big Point Book fan, but I must admit that he did a masterful job of it tonight.
