There are better shooters I'd like to see participate but that's a good field. I think the 3pt shootout is the best part of All-Star. They should include more players in it.

I actually think Book could crush this... the guy is automatic when you watch him in practice 3 point drills, which is basically what this is. I agree with ShelC and others that some of the better shooters were left out. Would have loved to see Gilly, Allen or Royce in it.

The 3 point shootout is my favorite of the All-Star weekend also. It's the only one that players will still put in full effort to win, and the stars will still compete in.

I think I would rather see Grayson Allen in the 3-point contest than Book. But it's nice to have the Suns represented.

When is Allen going to be able to play for us again? We could have used him in a big way against the Sixers. If we would have made just 4 more of the 10,000 3 pointers that we attempted, we win.

These all-star weekend competitions mean more when there are stars in the games. That's part of why the dunk contest sucks; nobody cares about the players who participate. So, yeah, Book has absolutely not shot well enough from 3 to deserve this, but you have to include stars.
