Given he clearly seemed not himself / hampered post all star break, chalk this one up to training staff/ coach. Maybe if you’re energy big who is injury prone is suddenly playing like crap you check what’s wrong. May be they don’t trust maluach but that’s a silly reason to risk injury with Williams. Reeks of desperate for playoffitis.

It's a toe injury, so I am not panicking about Williams yet. Maybe this lowers his price a bit and we can afford to keep him. But we are in that bad spot we feared we might be in: Williams injured, and now we HAVE to play Maluach real minutes. And he isn't ready.

We have no interior defense without Williams in. Oso just isn't physical enough to match up with big centers.

But the biggest problem has been that this team is in desperate need of a dependable scorer to compliment Booker. Not a Brooks or Green type scorer, but someone who could give them 20 a night with some efficiency.

The teams biggest problem has been injuries, yes it would be great to have a strong second fiddle to compliment Booker, but there is no continuity with this team.
