Anyone else watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms? The wife and I are watching it and really enjoy it. Dunk and Egg are nearly perfectly cast, and they have done a pretty good job of following the book. It's been a lot of fun; highly recommend, don't sleep on this one if you were upset with how badly Game of Thrones ended (and/or a bit disappointed by House of the Dragon Season 2).

We are also watching Fallout. Very weird and fun show. Can't take it too seriously but it's well made and a fun watch. We are about halfway through Season 2 now. It turns out it's made by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who made Westworld, a show I really loved until the wheels came off after the first few seasons.

I've watched all of Fallout. Almost turned it off during the first episode of the first season due to the ridiculous, almost Monty Python style, blood explosions. But got past that and have enjoyed the whole series in spite of never playing the video games.

Still bummed about how all of that ended…. Could have been great.

Also, be sure to check out the Fallout Fake Talkshow in the extras section. Funny stuff.

Wife and I really enjoying A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Brutal violence tonight. Wow.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Project Hail Mary is landing in theaters. Anybody going to see it? I own but haven't yet read the book, but my parents and brother read and loved it and are really looking forward to this one.

It's a book I've read through a couple of times. It's really quite entertaining in the same sort of way 'The Martian' was. Except, where 'The Martian' was fairly grounded in real, current or near-future science and tech, this one is kind of batshit. Mostly in good ways, though. I'll be seeing the movie week 1, going to get an IMAX ticket if I can.

Saw the first few seconds of the trailer two weeks ago, then stopped watching so I could read the book which I finished over the weekend. Not a sci-fi fan but enjoyed the book a lot and the trailer looks pretty faithful. Weir also wrote The Martian and while I didn't read the book, I saw the movie and felt like a lot of the dialogue was written the same way. You can imagine Gosling, Damon, Ryan Reynolds, etc in these roles.
