I sit corrected. If the Thunder win, they'll become just the third team in NBA history to win 65 or more regular season games in consecutive years. The Bulls did in 1996 and 1997, the Warriors 2015-2017.

In a mostly meaningless game, it would be nice to beat them so we could point to our regular season games against them and say, hey, we are capable of beating you guys or giving you a real challenge if we play our best. We may well face OKC if we make it to Round 1 (I think this is a likely outcome, losing the first play-in game and then winning the second to secure the 8 seed and the 1-8 first round matchup against OKC).

Actually, the real posibility to face each other is another reason to keep your cards on your deck. You don’t want to give your opponent a recent and live opportunity to scout your plays and your players current condition, as in Williams recently lost agressionMori Chu wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2026 12:59 pmIn a mostly meaningless game, it would be nice to beat them so we could point to our regular season games against them and say, hey, we are capable of beating you guys or giving you a real challenge if we play our best. BOOYEA! Nice first quarter. Suns up 37-19, Booyea with 9, Dunn (NOT Bunnz) with 10 big points.

Why does it take a meaningless game for Dunn to try this stuff?

Clearly Book, Green and Brooks have been holding Dunn back and need to be moved this offseason so we can rebuild around the new cornerstone

1. Bouyea 27 pts, 9 ast, 5 reb, 2 blk
2, Dunn 20 pts, 11 reb, 5 stl, 1 blk
3. Maluach 18 points, 14 reb, 1 blk
4. Brea 20 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast
5. Fleming 16 pts, 5 reb, 6 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk
6. Coffey 17 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast
7. Huntley 10 pts, 4 reb
I gave it to Bouyea because Dunn was a rotation most of the year. Maluach was a clear #3 with Brea looking a lot more comfortable out there.
