This summary of our offense is both depressing and completely accurate.JCSunsfan wrote:It seems our offense is basically Bledsoe driving and dishing only if he is completely cut off, the Morri going one-on-one and shooting contested jumpers (albiet making more than I would expect), and the occasional three from whoever is open.

Started about the time BK went down and we went to a big lineup with PJ at 2.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Our team rebounding has gone up significantly as well. Weird run we're on.

Don't forget - once in a while the guys have no choice but to pass it to Alex/Wright because they're standing wide open under the basket with their hands up.

I've always been in favor of a bigger more traditional line-up. Don't like the shrimpy back court when your front line doesn't rebound well. This current line up might play some ugly ball, but we cant underestimate its effectiveness so far. Honestly, all this really does is make me want Jimmy Butler as our SG even more.Cap wrote:Started about the time BK went down and we went to a big lineup with PJ at 2.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Our team rebounding has gone up significantly as well. Love, Hurts.

Yeah, I am not a fan of taking a SG that can't play SG due to his size and calling him a PG, especially when he clearly isn't. We need a distributor at the 1, that can also shoot and handle the ball really well. Then we need a real 2. I don't know if Knight can be that 1; I didn't watch him enough yet. But I know Eric isn't that 1 or 2. The only way the Bledsoe experiment can be successful is if we find a great 2 that can limit his mistakes. I am not sure there is one out there that we can get.

It is weird. Its the Suns as an ugly defensive team--that's a really strange look to long time Suns fans. However, its probably the best way for this group to win.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:MoBros last 5: Keef 46%fg 18/8/3 - Mook 43%fg 14/9/4 (some people would pay Draymond Green 12m+ per for these numbers.) Our team rebounding has gone up significantly as well. Weird run we're on.

I just finally watched the game today. That charge call was ridiculous. I was thinking about what you said about the Houston refs applied to this game.carey wrote:Just re-watched the 4th Q before my kids wake up for school and Goodwin was really impressive. He made a big shot driving to the basket with 3 minutes to go, made that clutch 3-pointer, then made that great entry pass to Keef for the clutch Keef jumper. I thought the ticky-tack foul they called on him for Chandler was crap. Also that charge on Bledsoe? Was even more crap. Ellis sold the hell out of that thing.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I was so happy for Archie's clutch play to end the game. The 360 finger-roll was a thing of beauty and then the clutch three. His shot is finally showing the improvement I've been waiting to see.

Best part about Archie and his nice 4th quarter was that he didn't let those 3 quick fouls in 6 minutes early in the game deter him. Way to go young fella!
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
