Game Day - Summer League Edition: Suns (1-0) @ Pelicans (1-1), Sun 7/12/26

Post by Superbone »

Time: 12:00 pm AZ (12:00 pm PT/3:00 pm ET)
Place: Pavilion, Las Vegas, NV
TV: ESPN 2, AZFS

I hope you all got your free slurpees yesterday (7/11). Just for Shel, I used my pull with the Suns to get him an early matinee game on Sunday. I hope to see more of the same from Man Man and Peat along with more confidence from Fleming. He should be able to impose his will on many of these dudes.

Go Suns!!!

Dis • cuss
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Was there any news on what hobbled Man Man and Fleming at the end of the first game?

Excited to see what Peat can do. I may be able to actually watch this one.

Maybe he'll have a RE-Peat performance 😉

My pickleball start time coincides with this game start time. See you all on the flip side.

I don't know what it says about these guys or our trainers than they've been working out every day of the offseason but get leg crams in the first summer league game. Never happened before as far as I can remember. Leg cramps, Jalen's hammy caused him to miss 80 games, we load managed Williams all season and he still missed the last however many games including playoffs. Something's not adding up.

Koby Brea isn’t an nba player. I think we should probably cut him.

We are looking pretty rough out there.
I can't imagine us getting any assists in this game

The guard play has been atrocious, but that's pretty much the case every year. Largely unwarcha.

Fleming still looks lost.

Yep.
Probably should have waited until after Summer League before resigning him to that 2-way.

I think we just gave him a qualifying offer and he picked it up…don’t think they are guaranteed though. We can just waive him and get someone else…well I guess I don’t know if it still pays him or not, but doesn’t count towards our salary regardless.

Brea 1-8 from the field as of the third quarter...
A fun team to watch again. A trade or two away from being a serious contender...
