Gambo has pretty strongly said there is nothing else going on and the trade is still happening. Also Bridges was sitting with the team at the summer league game. He wouldn’t be doing that if he wasn’t coming.
I didn't see that. That's a very strong indicator then.
Basically the whole roster and staff were sitting courtside across from the Suns bench during the first game. Booker wasn't there but I later saw he was at the game for Chris Paul's EYBL team which is also playing in LV right now.

Correct. Took me a minute to find the pic.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

The team’s social media is delivering farewells for Grayson and Royce, so, here we go…

Suns pushing back that press conference as far as possible:

@Gambo987 23m
Suns will have media availability for Miles Bridges next week as they are currently in Vegas for summer league this week

@PHNX_Suns 1h
With the Miles Bridges trade now official, the Suns will hold an introductory press conference on Tuesday, July 21.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I don't think they're intentionally "pushing it back as far as possible" for some nefarious reason.

It wouldn't really make sense for everyone to go back and forth from LV to PHX just to hold an introductory press conference.

First time choosing to post in this thread
Respect to all the varying opinions, I think this is a solid basketball related tweet I came across which is worth sharing

I read online some folks saying he's going to help create for others and that had me puzzled. I didn't watch Hornets games and I just think of him mainly finishing at the rim tbh so yes more athleticism would be welcomed. As discussed all last season, rim pressure wasn't really our thing.

Either way, I found this clip very interesting because I don't/ didnt think of him as a passer......
Some of these are definitely nice reads and honestly lots of guys don't even execute some of the simple plays here. As someone who was often saying that we miss opportunities to get Mark the ball this can be a nice development

I think it’s funny people think the players / millionaires are at summer league for team chemistry … just a reminder it’s in Vegas and summer league gives the perfect cover.

Also funny that some people expect our limp dick podcasters who now get to sit in press row etc instead of their parents basement, will now ask the hard questions about bridges character in a press conference

Why does everyone want the suns questioned about Bridges character? They can operate how they want. They're a private company whether fans like it or not. You can choose to boycott. They're not answering to their shareholders, nor is Bridges personal life anyone's business as long as it doesn't interfere with his employment.

This fascination over asking them the "hard" questions like they're going to get cancelled is weird. Let's move on.

I don’t think it’s weird at all. They’ve talked about valuing high character guys. Why can’t we ask how trading for a player that put his wife in the hospital by beating her up fits with acquiring high character players?

No one is trying to say that the suns shouldn’t be allowed to trade for Bridges.

You may think it’s weird, but I think it’s weird you think it’s weird haha

What exactly do you think asking them tough questions will accomplish? Will their answers somehow make it okay that they acquired Bridges, if you thought it wasn't okay before? Will they be able to give you some reason, some explanation, that makes you think everything is fine now? I don't like the trade, but it's a free country, and they can acquire him if they want. I don't think they can really spin it in a way that makes me happy with it. I don't really care what they have to say about their rationale for acquiring him. It is what it is.
