It takes two to tango. I'm not going to take these cross accusations seriously unless we have some proof. It will always be part of his life as they have children together. You'd hope the two of them would do what is best for their children but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Sure, I agree, but the cross-accusation Bridges made back about his ex is that she "assaulted" him by ... trying to splash water on him from a water bottle. After he (allegedly) tried to hit her with a moving golf cart. Either accusation might be true and might be false, but one seems like a much more dangerous act than the other, no? "Well, she tried to splash me with WATER!" doesn't seem like a very impressive response to being accused of trying to collide with your ex with a moving motor vehicle.

From what I read, the terms of their separation state that they are supposed to have a third party do all of their custody transfers every week or however often it is. It sounds to me like they both just don't abide by that, and they do the transfers directly instead. I agree that this seems like a big source of problems; they should probably just stay away from each other. But the court has already told them to do that, and they aren't.

And because she threw water at him, he is now "scared for my kid's safety."

I just can't with this guy...

He's just a shitty person with terrible judgement. Hopefully he helps us win a bunch of basketball games. I will struggle mightily to root for him. He even comes across as a kind of like a low IQ, ghetto trash kind of player every time I've heard him speak.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

What a great way to reward your new employer for going out on a limb for you.

Yes, but have you heard him rap?
"Hey, Jane - get me off this crazy thing called love." - Charlie, but also Suns fans wishing we didn't have to watch more 4th quarter small ball but knowing we will tune in for the next game.

So, for those of you who were hoping to hear certain questions or answers from Br****s's introductory press conference, do you feel that you got what you wanted? Did you like how he spoke about his past, his behavior, his character, etc.? How do you feel about having him here now that he's had a chance to speak about everything?

I’m not sure that is the kind of discussion to detonate, at least not so soon.

I have seen a lot of restraint recently on most of the people talking about Bridges, but I consider it an effort to maintain our community at peace, not as an acknowledgment that their initial positions have changed.

A press conference so scripted like this is not changing any deep feelings. So I would propose to skip for a while revisiting our feelings on the subject.

After reading about the "terrible body language", what I saw was better than I expected. I see embarrassment.

But not true shame. Not true regret. Reading a memorized passage. No real contrition.

He still hasn't paid a fair penalty for his actions, his wealth and his lawyers prevented this.

So -- no. The words all around seem hollow, forced, scripted, memorized. My position remains the same.

I don't entirely disagree with your sentiments but I feel really dirty saying so. Unfortunate that the fan base was out into this position when we could have just enjoyed a great young team of likable kids grow together under Booker's leadership.

I think I would’ve liked more questions asked. I don’t feel like my opinion changed at all. I guess like Aztec said, we probably just need to wait and see what happens. I hope he surprises us but I won’t hold my breath.
