I agree with the factual statement that his game is not pretty to watch. I don’t think this assessment is particularly fair tho. Before last year I was firmly in the trade Book camp but the games where he was out last year it was painfully obvious that this team has no one who can reasonably go up against a defender whose normal job is to take on the opposing team’s best players. So if we pick from among those who are barely qualified to be third options on a decent team, Brooks at least always stepped up and took terrible shots with confidence and hit them at a clip well above what I expected of him. So ugly game or not he played a role on this team that frankly the team / coach asked of him and I’m thankful he’s on the Suns.
