The NBA posted their top 50 defensive plays of the year and the only suns play that made it was Grayson deflecting the ball off Mikal. I get that the stakes of the game matter but purely in terms of defensive dominance and difficulty this Khaman block should absolutely have a place in that list.

Books are generally flammable, doesn't seem like a good idea.

We couldn't be bothered to take Haliburton when a young phenom like STIX was still on the board. (Heartbreaking draft failure, which was obvious even at the time.)

But everyone says James Jones was so great.

He had good and bad like everybody else. Took us to the finals with Williams, Paul, Bridges, etc.

You can make the argument that Cam Johnson cost us a title. If James Jones hadn't drafted Cam the year prior and wowed everyone with his ability to spot a diamond in the rough draft prospect, Jones might not have had the misguided idea to try to do it again the following year by drafting Stix instead of Haliburton. And if we had Hali, we might have gone all the way; he was almost exactly what this team needed. It's a stretch, but that missed pick really really cost us.

FINGERS CROSSSED
"Hey, Jane - get me off this crazy thing called love." - Charlie, but also Suns fans wishing we didn't have to watch more 4th quarter small ball but knowing we will tune in for the next game.

What I got out of that is that Ishbia's business is effectively a middle man that serves no real purpose other than to hand money from one group to another and then takes a cut.
