2015 NBA Draft
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I would be incredibly stoked to trade Bledsoe for the #4 and pick of Mudiay and then get Booker at #13. That would be unbelievable.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I'm not big on conspiracy theories and I don't think the lottery was rigged. That being said, I don't think the lottery could have fallen better for the league. Minnesota can finally say that they got the #1 pick, the worst team won the lottery and can pick the player that best fits them. The Lakers are in the best position and can get Okafor, who will be great for them. The Sixers don't have to trade away any of their good young bigs and pick the player that best fits their team, and the Knicks can trade away their pick for someone that will help them sooner.

As a longtime Suns fan, it would have been nice to get a top three for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
How about the number 1 just once?! Cleveland getting it 3 out of 5 years makes me sick!
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Agreed. I would like to see them create a rule that you can't get the top pick more than once within a 10 year period.Superbone wrote:How about the number 1 just once?! Cleveland getting it 3 out of 5 years makes me sick!

Even worse, it was 3 out of 4 years. And a top 5 pick 5 out of 4 years.Superbone wrote:How about the number 1 just once?! Cleveland getting it 3 out of 5 years makes me sick!

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Yeah, I wish they'd enact a "stop sucking so much" rule where you can't get such a pick more than K times in N years. (We can argue about the exact values that K and N should have.)
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Has Mudiay played against any real competition besides the Chinese league?In2ition wrote:I would be incredibly stoked to trade Bledsoe for the #4 and pick of Mudiay and then get Booker at #13. That would be unbelievable.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Justise Winslow. It`s unbelieveable how this guy is underrated. The best prospect from upcoming draft (alongside Karl Towns), imho. When I watch him I basicaly see James Harden with much better defense. Trade Bledsoe and whatever it takes to the Knicks for that 4th pick.
Winslow has continued to improve every single time we've seen him, as he has a reputation for being an absolute gym rat, and will certainly continue to work on his game as his career progresses. He's also an extremely intelligent player who is highly unselfish, executes extremely well offensively, and has won in every single place he's been. He won three gold medals with USA Basketball, and a NCAA championship as a freshman, which speaks volumes about the type of competitor he is. - DraftExpress

I said awhile back Winslow was my top guy overall, he's a stud. I don't think he'll be the scorer Harden is because few can draw FTA like that, but they have a lot of similarities. I actually think he'll end up more like Kawhi Leonard, a guy who does pretty much everything well.
Love, Hurts.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I really hope we can cut some kind of deals with the Knicks this summer. They seem like one of the few teams currently being managed by complete nimrods. Phil Jackson is out of his element and in over his head. I don't have any confidence in his ability to broker good deals for the Knicks this summer. Smells like an FO that is ripe to be fleeced in a deal. Bledsoe for the #4.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I agree with you in that I think Winslow might have the best prospects at becoming a superstar of anyone in this draft. But he is not nearly the shooter that Harden is.sunset rubdown wrote:Justise Winslow. It`s unbelieveable how this guy is underrated. Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Harden isn't a great shooter. He has some great shots, but overall he is just above average. His ability to get to the line is what makes him a great scorer.JCSunsfan wrote:I agree with you in that I think Winslow might have the best prospects at becoming a superstar of anyone in this draft. Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Based off that YouTube compilation he looks like he's more athletic than Harden.

Kid looks like a stud, I'm sold. Resign Knight, move up to the Knicks spot and take Justise, we'd be set at the 1 and 2 for years to come.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
What if it was Bledsoe and our first rounder for the #4 as the main pieces of the deal? Would we be ok with that? I suspect it would take something like that and probably taking back a contract we don't really want.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I guess it would all depend on how high the Suns front office was on Justise Winslow. That does seem a little too steep IMO.
